Please avoid edit warring

[edit]

Information icon Hi Bobwikia! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Rasnaboy (talk) 08:38, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's not even me. Its just 1st time I'm editing the article.can you delete this from my talk page? Seems like you're threatening me. Bobwikia (talk) 09:15, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What other accounts have you had?

[edit]

Please answer at the SPI where I also asked the question. Doug Weller talk 19:27, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I already answered. Don't waste my time by arguing with me to protect your friend and divert his spi case. Bobwikia (talk) 02:50, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No you didn't. Doug Weller talk 11:28, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, check properly. But it's not showing my answer on the clerk and admin only comments section. Instead, it shows above the section. I pinged you there again. Bobwikia (talk) 11:31, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As a newcomer, I might have been making mistakes which disrupts our respectful admins and our experienced editors. I apologize for that and requesting our lovely hardworking admins to give me an excuse. I'll be civil, respectful and useful for our Wikipedia community. I'll be more friendly with fellow editors and contribute good.
@Doug Weller I'm extremely sorry If I behaved inappropriate. Forgive me and give me a chance to prove I'm a good editor. I won't make the same mistakes again. I assure this and I'd like to follow your path. You're an inspiration to many of us. Bobwikia (talk) 06:25, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In order to be assured that you won't repeat the mistakes, please tell what those mistakes were. I might also suggest that you discuss how you came to be aware of what an SPI was so quickly, which is unusual for a completely new user. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:01, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

About my block and accusations

[edit]

@331dot You won't unblock me. I fear you're one in that admin abuse gang. But still, Lemme tell you what happened.

There was a dispute between me and an editor. He was repeatedly pushing his pov and he was not answering to my questions on the consensus talk page. So I found out admin noticeboard after reading Wikipedia's guidelines and rules. Then I got to know about SPI and three revert rule thing when I was reading admin noticeboards and incidents.

The noticeboard was interesting to read. Because People go there to resolve an issue. I was strictly following Wikipedia's guidelines. So I went to dispute resolution board to resolve matter instead of arguing with the editor who pushed Pov. The issue was resolved right now.

From the observation of admin noticeboards and incidents page, I found out that if another person do the same thing which another editor did, it considered sockpuppet activity. When the editor is unable to cross three revert rule, another editor did the same thing. So I filed the SPI case after I found out they do have similar interests. I was being oversmart there, now this is an issue. I got angry when his friends were not even talking about his mistakes. They were just harassing me because of I'm a new comer and I dragged his friend to admin noticeboards and SPI.

So I revealed that they were having same political agenda. And my attitude was bit inappropriate due to the anger issues. So the admin blocked me permanently after doug weller emailed him about me. They didn't even warn me or advice me anything.

Problem started on South India

You can see my contributions to know how it started and how it ended.

Let me know what mistake did I do after reading this case (If you have time) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Rasnaboy

Our respective admin @Doug Weller didn't like my attitude in the SPI case and it touched his ego, and he emailed @Blablubbs to block me with the sayings "I'm an uninvolved admin..." See: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Blablubbs&action=edit&section=43 or the Blablubbs might be a fan of Doug weller and got anger towards my attitude. So it might be a reason for the block. In SPI case, I was talking about the evidences and behaviors of the accused persons and his friends. Not outside the SPI case.

The mistake is unknown. They have not told me about the mistakes. I questioned the authority and the old editors. They blocked me. So I thought the mistake is I questioned the old editors and the 2 admins. In the block appeal, I was talking about this mistake/thing only. If I said it was misuse of admin tools and WP:ADMINABUSE, you would have told me to read WP:NOTTHEM as per the appealing guidelines.

Wikipedia's guidelines are not rocket science. I'm a tech person and I know how to code and analyze the data. So it might be the reason I learned the things much quick. I was protecting Wikipedia's true intention and goals from the abusive editors who push their POV agenda. To confirm: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard/Archive_229

I did good thing to the Wikipedia and Thanked the all editors on the talk page of South India. I didn't make any big mistakes which imply "this guy should be banned here". No problem even if you make decision to favor your fellow admins. I didn't lose anything, it is Wikipedia community. Thanks for your time. Bobwikia (talk) 15:01, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You may make another unblock request for someone else to review. If possible I should only review one request by a user. This is for fairness, not "abuse". 331dot (talk) 15:05, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I explained you the thing what happened, now how should I proceed further? I don't know what to do next. Because the incident makes me think all admins are like them. Bobwikia (talk) 15:11, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I stopped reading at "admin abuse gang". WP:GAB explains how to contest your block and specifically has a number of pieces of advice that are relevant to you. Yamla (talk) 15:51, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I seriously condemn this act

[edit]

@Yamla@331dot What did I do? The admin blocked me after they got angry about my attitude in the spi case https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Rasnaboy

I didn't make any big mistakes which say "This guy should be banned here". If I ask unblock request in diplomatic and humble manner, you ask what happened and ask doubts. If I explained you what happened, decline the request stating the WP:GAB . How should I request properly then? Why this cruelty against the new user? What did I do? Is this how you treat new editor? Editors don't have rights to criticize abusive admins? This behavior is just irritating. Bobwikia (talk) 16:05, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Launching personal attacks on administrators while trying to have your block (which was for your inappropriate attitude irreconcilable with a collaborative editing environment) shows you should remain blocked. If you can't see this, there's no possibility your block will be lifted. I will not respond further. --Yamla (talk) 16:07, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, telling the people you are asking to unblock you that they are an "abuse gang" is not a good strategy, and furthermore your definitions of "abuse" and "cruelty" are outside the norm. I too won't respond further. 331dot (talk) 16:54, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
