Fansites are not allowed to be included in the external links section only. You can see all other Bollywood actors' pages. The fansite is used as a reference to prove that the info on the actor is accurate. We are unable to find reliable sites as of now that is why we are currently using it as a reference only. Reference/Extenal links are totally different things. When you removed number 1, you removed all the references. Regards --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 15:46, 19 December 2007
- I removed the fansite from the article and added the site that you mentioned. I have used the site you told me as references in her article. Hope everything is fine now. Regards --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 06:47, 20 December 2007
- As per, Bollywood Dreamz has mentioned, I request you to kindly stop from removing the links from Deepika Padukone's page. Thank You. Much Appreciated. Universal Hero (talk) 12:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Image source problem with Image:Anamika 01.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Anamika 01.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:35, 22 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. High on a tree (talk) 11:35, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]Please do not remove Copyright Problem tags or other essential maintenance tags from article, as you did here. It is important that copyright concerns be taken seriously and investigated, both for the protection of Wikipedia and for copyright holders. In this case, the article contained information copied directly from IMDb, which has now been removed. If you wish to restore information, please rewrite it in your own words. We can use external sources for ideas, but not for sentences. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Your assertion of authorship
[edit]Hello. I see from your most recent addition to this article that you may have authored the IMDb profile. I'm dropping you a line to let you know that permission to re-use this material must come through official channels. This is essential, because Wikipedia does not require verification of identity on account creation, and obviously we have no other way of knowing that you have authority to release the information to GFDL. For the legal protection of Wikipedia as well as copyright holders, we must verify that before admitting re-use on the encyclopedia. As a first step, if you are asserting authorship, you should note the same on the article's talk page. Following this, you have the following options with regards to incorporating language from this source:
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to <permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the talk page of the article.
- If a note is added to the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GNU Free Documentation License or that it is released into the public domain leave a note at the talk page of the article with a link to where we can find that note.
See Wikipedia:Copyright problems#Copyright owners who submitted their own work to Wikipedia for more. IMDb prominently reserves copyright of material on its site to itself and its contributors. Unless we can verify that you are the contributor in question, our allowance of the material is in violation of copyright.
Please also note, given the name of the contributor listed at IMDb, that your inclusion of this material and contribution to that article would seem problematic with regards to the conflict of interest policy, which strongly advises that you do not contribute to articles about yourself except in specific, limited circumstances.
I am, for the moment, blanking the material again for copyright concerns. If you wish to return the material, please follow one of the steps above at the same time and place a note on the article's talk page indicating that you have done so. As copyrights are a matter of grave concern, the material can't be included without satisfaction of these requirements.
For the purpose of clarity, I will duplicate this message at the article talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:42, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Why does this have to be so complicated? I am the author of the thing...jeeeez. I feel so targeted by you....
I am going to go to IMDB and have them add...released into the public domain will that satisfy you? Is that what you want? Your post is very complicated.

- It's the copyright law of the United States, I'm afraid. As Wikipedia has its servers in the United States, we must follow US copyright law. We cannot include material from another source unless we are legally authorized to do so. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:24, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
