Alien 5[edit]

Because there is no Alien 5, the link was redirected to AvP. There usually are not pages for potential films, the closest thing would be a film that is either in production at that moment, or has so much fan base it deserves a page (i.e. Superman Lives and Batman vs. Superman [see pages]). If another Alien movie would go into production, that link would be fixed so that it directed itself to the proper page. Bignole 12:34, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent addition to Radio on 10:26, 26 March 2007[edit]

Hi. Please don't take this in a harsh light, but I removed the links you had placed in the article Radio. Unless the link supports the article in a fairly direct way, bringing the reader to a specific page that has prose information augmenting the article itself, it tends to be clutter at best and subject to removal by editors particular about such things, such as myself. Take, for example, the link to How Stuff Works, which offers an alternate exposition to the Wikipedia article. In contrast, your links went to homepage portals that did not direct the reader's attention to any particular extension or amplification of the article. The Manual of Style on External links contains the guidelines on what constitutes good and bad external links, which goes into considerable more detail than the comment on the radio page itself. If you have any questions or concerns, drop me a note on my talk page. Thanks for editing. Take care! — Gosgood 13:40, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Sylvie Fleury[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sylvie Fleury, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 14:52, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
