Hello - it is really strange - I just registered and started to edit - and found that I am not able to edit any more as my IP is blocked - what is my mistake man?

I made some edits to a Debates on the grammar school and then wanted to create a stub named Social integration, which appears as a red line in the article. I had created a stub as follows:

Social integration

Social integration is a term used in sociology and several other social sciences. The term indicates different meanings depending in the context. In general, it connotes the process of integration of a group of persons like minority groups, ethnic minorities, refugees, underprivileged sections of the society, to integrate into the mainstream of the society, and thus to avail of the opportunities, rights and services available to the members of the mainstream of the society. The United Nations has a Social Integration Branch, which is a part of the Division for Social Policy and Development (Department of Economic and Social Affairs). It also issues a quarterly publication named Bulletin on Social Integration Policies.

However, the block is making my life difficult. I fail to understand the system which is followed here. --Bootblack 15:03, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

My beginning with wikipedia began with a "block". Whoever unblocked me - I am thankful to him/her. I will certainly continue to give wikipedia something good, as I had for months taken a lot from it for my examinations. Thank you. --Bootblack 15:18, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In that case I've removed the {{unblock}} tag (I didn't unblock you, I just came across your request). For future reference, if you find yourself blocked, you'll need to provide your IP address with the unblock tag - otherwise we don't know what it is and can't unblock it. You were probably blocked because someone else was using your IP to vandalise. --Sam Blanning(talk) 15:21, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please copy the message when you try to edit- such as your IP or block number.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 15:32, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide the information that we have been asking for (check my talk). There is absolutely no way we can unblock you without you providing the message you get when you are blocked.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 15:41, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This was the message[edit]

Now I am going[edit]

Today, I felt really bad - for no fault of me I am getting penalty. I will again try on Sunday. Please do something by then. --Bootblack 15:44, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to learn the circumstances of your block-type position and your inability to edit. Do you still facing any difficulty in editing as I do not find any edit from you after the initial ones. In case you want, you may send me email. I wish you all the best, and look forward to edits from you. --Bhadani 18:06, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In case, you are able to edit, would you please sign with your IP address? Thanks. --Bhadani 18:14, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
