A tag has been placed on Knox Church, Dunedin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hi Boyofthemanse. Thanks for your additions to articles (looks like you're another Dunedinite!), but please don't sign them. Details of what additions you made are automatically listed with your name in the article's history (which can be accessed via the button at the top of the page) - they shouldn't be in the article itself. PS - I've also restored and started work on a real article on Knox Church... just an external link on its own doesn't cut it as a proper Wikipedia article. Grutness...wha? 01:05, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oops - I see you have a half-written article on Knox on your user page... looks like a lot of the information is complementary to what i wrote, though, so the two could probably easily be blended together. Grutness...wha? 01:20, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again - there's probably no hurry with the photos. It shouldn't take that many edits from you before you're able to upload them yourself, so emailing them to me to upload probably wouldn't be worth the effort in the long run. What you've written is largely ion the organisation fo the church whereas what i wrote was on the building itself,s o there's not that much overlap. Of the information on your user page the list of ministers may need a bit of a trim, or more of organisation into paragraphs, but other than that it looks good.
