Removing sourced material and replacing with unsourced material

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Baldness treatments, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:36, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jamie, the sourced material is incorrect as is doesnt not refplect the true status of the Leimo Personal Hair Laser with the TGA - The TGACC is only an advisory committee to teh TGA (Proper). The TGACC is often manipulated by competitors againsts rival devices. We have on numerous times defended ourselves successfully against attach from competitors using the TGACC. If you require further clarification please contact me personally on skype bradn2005 - I can forward you emails etc from the TGA. The Leimo Personal Hair Laser is still listed and you perpetrating the TGACC finding is just confusting the market place and helping competitors. If you have an email I will forward you the email correspondance from teh TGA Post Market Review. Thankyou for you time in this matter. I only use talk pages for communication. You'll need a reliable source to make changes to the info. Emails do not qualify as such. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:28, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

what do you class as reliable sources - websites?? Official Letters?? or what?? Bradn2005 (talk) 18:43, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Read the WP:Reliable sources policy. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:54, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jamie, I have uploaded the references for our product - you must remember the power of Wikipedia and the issue about false representation of a product on the internet. Leimo is still listed with the TGA and the EU - the TGACC - as I communicated - was manipulated by a competitor. You must remove this reference as this is effecting our business. We are an ethical company and do not wish to be slandered across the Internet. Please comply to my reasonable request. Thankyou Brad Norman - Managing Director Leimo International Bradn2005 (talk) 07:20, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have included the references from the authorities: TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) of Australia (https://www.ebs.tga.gov.au/ebs/ANZTPAR/PublicWeb.nsf/publicSearch?openAgent&id=A~139546~1#) and the European Union EC Directive (http://www.itczlin.cz/databaze-certifikatu-vyrobku-2.php?hledat=1) as a Class IIa Medical Device approved for safety and to be effective in Hair Loss Prevention and Hair Regrowth.

I can email you the letters from the TGA to provide further substantiation. This is very important Jamie for you to understand the gravity and seriousness of this slander. Yours sincerely Brad Norman Managing Director Leimo International. Bradn2005 (talk) 07:37, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's very important for you to understand that further implied legal threats will result in an immediate and indefinite block of your account. There is nothing slanderous about publishing an official, publicly available report. The English-language document you provided does not describe the device as "safe" or "effective." It's simply a registration. If you want to counter the claim currently on the article, you'll need to provide documentation. As I said before, I'm not interested in emails. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:27, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jamie, I have volumes of official documents from the TGA - you tell me that you dont not acceopt these letter - that you only accept web site entries - is that correct?? Bradn2005 (talk) 09:21, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you understand correctly. Emails can easily be forged. The only exception I know of to this is cases where emails are used to verify that copyright for images or text has been released by a third-party copyright holder. In this case, the email must be sent directly from the copyright holder to our WP:OTRS system. Also see [of OTRS queues], WP:Verifiability and WP:Reliable sources. These links will provide you will all the information you need. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:24, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
