Disambiguation link notification for July 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Film director, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Kes and Jaws. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-free images on Wikipedia[edit]

Hello, regarding non-free images on Wikipedia, they need to be low resolution. Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria states that there should be minimal extent of use: "Low- rather than high-resolution/fidelity/bit rate is used (especially where the original could be used for deliberate copyright infringement). This rule also applies to the copy in the File: namespace." Wikipedia cannot host film poster images that are much larger than what is shown in the given infobox. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 19:00, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted the high-resolution changes made at All Over Me (film) and Human Traffic. However, I did notice that the latter article had a very blurry image. What you could do is re-size what you initially uploaded but with a width of 270 so it is still low-resolution but more detailed than the oldest version. The replacement for All Over Me could be restored too if the image you uploaded is also re-sized similarly. Let me know if you have any questions. If you're like to discuss the approach to poster images on Wikipedia, we can start a discussion at WT:FILM. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 19:10, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Human Traffic theatrical release poster.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Human Traffic theatrical release poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:53, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Template:Dan Clews, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:41, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Template:Dan Clews[edit]

Hello BrainSpecialist. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Template:Dan Clews".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Template:Dan Clews}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 01:53, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
