Speedy deletion of Prashanth Misale[edit]

A tag has been placed on Prashanth Misale requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Prashanth Misale[edit]

I have nominated Prashanth Misale, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prashanth Misale. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Bongomatic 16:28, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Prashanth Misale, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bongomatic 02:22, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ajith Kumar and Asal. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Eelam StyleZ (talk) 11:14, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations[edit]

Hello again.
Since you ignored my last warning and keep uploading copyrighted images with no source information, claiming that you took them themselves, consider this your final warning. Do not upload another image you found on the web without clear proof that you own copyright to it.
Amalthea 11:46, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you reuploaded it, and now you claim that the original author released copyright to you. You provide no evidence of this however. You'll need to convince your "fellow blogger" to confirm this on his blog next to the image or, if possible, to send an e-mail from an address of the blogs domain confirming that he transferred copyright of that specific image to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Otherwise it will be deleted again in a couple of days.
Seeing that you've now been blocked I urge you to not upload any other image without consulting an experienced editor before.
Regards, Amalthea 08:17, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, since you removed the tag with a sockpuppet account, I assume that you cannot provide evidence and deleted the image as an unambigous copyright violation.
Please, think about what you're doing. We welcome constructive contributions, but there are rules that need to be followed both to make a friendly and constructive environment possible and to ensure that our content is free and reusable. If you continue on the path you're on you won't change anything. To the contrary. Amalthea 14:03, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Prashanth Misale, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bongomatic 04:22, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Thala.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Thala.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:54, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for a period of 1 week from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for disruptive editing, particularly by continuing to upload images under copyright after a final warning and edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Alright, I've unblocked your original account User:br4011. I trust that you'll play by the rules from now on, and start to talk to people when they leave you messages instead of ignoring them and going on as before. I also trust that you won't create any additional alternative accounts in the future.

Request handled by: Amalthea 15:24, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

{{unblock-ip|1=124.43.40.244|2=Abusing [[WP:Sock puppetry|multiple accounts]]: [[User:Br4011]]|3=Amalthea}}

There is no autoblock on that IP, so you should be fine. — Amalthea 15:24, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of My Name is Billa[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article My Name is Billa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non-notable single, no sources

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- The Red Pen of Doom 13:11, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
