Help request[edit]

If I can figure out how to add this code to my editor main page, or my editor Talk, how do I activate it at an article Talk?

Example: I understand that my earlier practice for referencing a copyedit, "At my copyedit here," is deprecated by the in-crowd at French Revolution.

I understand that I am to --- capture the number 987626561 in a link on the article Talk page --- in some way --- to present the more elegant statement that is also better for future reference look-ups in administrator reviews: "At my copyedit 987626561". I was referred to this page by a kindly collaborative administrator for the solution to my problem.

But I am 72 years old, and (1) on the wrong side of the digital divide, and (2) mathematically functionally illiterate: when a math textbook says "Clearly... ", the word signals that immediately follows a statement which I cannot comprehend.

With regrets for imposing on you, but with good intention to use your code, I am TheVirginiaHistorian (talk) 12:01, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@TheVirginiaHistorian:, look at my common.js (only the last two lines of it), and see if that solves your problem. Mathglot (talk) 23:24, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Similar script[edit]

I was inspired by this script to write User:Rublov/diff-link.js, which adds a "copy" link next to "cur" and "prev" to copy an internal link to that diff to your clipboard. If you're interested, try it out and let me know what you think. Rublov (talk) 02:21, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
