Orphaned non-free media (Image:Album promo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Album promo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:16, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creating new articles

[edit]

Hey, I have redirected the page you made about Anberlin's upcoming album. There is a few reasons why, mainly because the album does not yet pass notability guidelines (click this) for albums. It needs to have reliable sources for information such as a track listing, release date and especially an album title. It would perhaps be a wise choice to leave info about the album on the Anberlin page until up to about a month before it is released so we can have a more complete article written. For more info on creating articles check this out. If you need any help just hit me up on my talk page and I will get back to you asap. kiac. (talk-contrib) 12:43, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Anberlin Impossible.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Anberlin Impossible.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description.
