AfD template
Hey, thanks for correcting something I overlooked: removing the AfD template from Keith and The Girl! —Travistalk 14:53, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Brisbane-Commonwealth-Games-Opening-Ceremony-1982.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Brisbane-Commonwealth-Games-Opening-Ceremony-1982.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:47, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

™ vs. ™
Hi. A while ago on this page you changed the ™(edit this section to see what I'm talking about) to ™. They display the same symbol (the trademark superscript TM). Why did you do this? I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I wasn't sure if there was a rule I was not aware of or something. Thanks! :) -Henry W. Schmitt 20:11, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Henry no it's not a rule. If you see my edit summary [1] for the edit you're talking about I was using AWB to make bulk edits that session. Basically I ran through some Internet categories and made any changes that are more towards the Wikipedia "best practice" approach. Since Wiki handles unicode really well, part of the cleanup script changes all the HTML escape characters (such as & trade;) and converts them into unicode characters. Displaying on the page, makes no difference, however, when editing a page new users find the real characters, not their codes, easier to work with. Hope this helps. --Breno talk 00:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- I thought this might be the reason. Thanks for the info. :) --Henry W. Schmitt 09:07, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Uts-gridiron-play.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Uts-gridiron-play.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 22:14, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of On Hallowed Ground
On Hallowed Ground, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that On Hallowed Ground satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/On Hallowed Ground and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of On Hallowed Ground during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Pilotbob 22:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Brotherlove.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Brotherlove.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:00, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Tin Dog Episode Listings
This Wikipage was once merged with the main Tin Dog Podcast since then it has been split into two pages, I feel this page is not completly in line with notability and if you really feel neccesary will delete it, although due to the amount of time and effort I have put into this page it would make me feel like I have completly wasted my time. --Wiggstar69 10:29, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just want to say I'm not criticising the podcast nor your work here - thank you for helping contribute to Wikipedia! From your comment though it sounds like you already know that Doctor Who: Tin Dog Podcast Episode Listings doesn't really really cut it for an encyclopedia article. Take a copy of your work and save it on your computer though, as discussions about episode lists are over here at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Podcasting#Episode lists. However, if you're a fan of Tin Dog, then I suggest working on meeting notability requirements (specifically WP:WEB) for the show article itself (Doctor Who: Tin Dog Podcast) than working on episode lists. --Breno talk 11:05, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:ACTGridironLogo.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:ACTGridironLogo.png.

Seth and Molly picture
I wasn't the person who uploaded that image...it looks like someone named Nivica was. I just said that I know the image was not a problem because I know Seth. What should I do. Should I call Seth? Saudade7 04:45, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I looked at the wrong image. Hmm. I always put a reason, why doesn't the reason show up? That one was public domain or something like that. I think he can get his secretary to fix it. Sorry! Saudade7 04:48, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ok yeah you're looking at the Image:SethMollyAuraTHMB.jpg image now right? My concern is that the image is tagged as being released into the Public Domain, but there is no proof that the copyright holder has done so. There are several ways a copyright holder can do so, but I'd say the most straight forward would be the holder has an image page on their website detailing the licence they agree to release their image under.
- Another option would be to claim Fair use of a copyright image to help identify the persons discussed on the article. However, the priority first would be to establish where this image was sourced from. Thanks. --Breno talk 05:05, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
