Numbering should be done by software, not by hand.[edit]

Your decision to number the references in Kolmogorov–Zurbenko filter by hand rather than letting the software do the numbering is unfortunate. It means that if someone wants to insert a new item between number 3 and number 4, they have to re-number all of the ones that come after that, and then go through the article and find all of the places where references are cited and change those numbers carefully by hand. The software, properly used, will take care of all of this for you. But you didn't do that. Michael Hardy (talk) 02:06, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
