Please stop. If you continue to ignore our policies by introducing inappropriate pages, such as Channel 43, to Wikipedia, you will be blocked. Coren 19:16, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In order to be considered for inclusion to the Wikipedia, bands must meet certain notability guidelines which your article did not establish. Read over those guidelines; it may be that your band meets the requirement, but you have simply neglected to specify them in the article.

Two more hints for your future editing:

  • When commenting on a user's talk page, it is habitual to add your comment at the bottom of the page. Most editors will be confused by comments left at the top and it may remain there unread for some time.
  • You should normally not write articles about you, or about topics in which you are directly involved. Those articles, however well-intended, are always viewed with suspicion and often end up candidates for deletion.

Happy editing! Coren 19:49, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Channel 43[edit]

Hi there; firstly, I would be grateful if you would add new messages at the bottom of my talk page, not at the top.

To get to your question: wikipedia is not just an amassed collection of information. I do not wish to discourage you from contributing, and I hope that you will continue to do so; but for a band to deserve an article, it has to satisfy at least one of the parameters contained in the WP:MUSIC policy. If this band does so, you did not so state in the article. Please read the policy, and if you feel that your article can be improved so as to show qualification under thes guidelines, let me know and I will re-instate it so that you can improve it. In deleting articles we are not trying to be nasty, just keeping up standards.--Anthony.bradbury 20:44, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
