Help Request[edit]

{{helpme}} Hello Bongwarrior, I need your help, please. I have searched all over the help pages but cannot find how to move my contribution from my user page to become an article. My draft is now complete on my user page, and I want to list it as an article. Can you please tell me how to do this? Thanks.

Brightonmiplace (talk) 14:37, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit the draft, select all, copy.
Then search for the non-existent article (in the Wikipedia search box).
'Create new article'. Paste. Put in edit summary. Save.
Any more problems, ask again or talk to us live.  Chzz  ►  14:44, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Or just click the "move" tab at the top of the page to move it to the new title. Remember to remove the User: prefix. This is easier, and better. Stwalkerstertalk ] 14:46, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article US-Mattress has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, and no reliable sources are added that could establish it.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 20:05, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is to advise you of what is going on with the request to remove our company page. There has been a vandal that keeps trying to post slander on our page, and we keep removing it. Now they have posted the removal request. All info on the page is verifiable and accurate. Can you please cancel the deletion request, and protect the page from repetative vandal changes? Thank you. Brightonmiplace (talk) 20:22, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have blocked the user who was posting the information on the grounds that he seemed to have made a sockpuppet in order to do so, but the prod deletion, and the subsequent AFD nomination were actually both posted by me - see the deletion discussion for the reasoning behind the nomination and the actual deletion discussion.
In essence it would seem that the page was never truly notable or supported by reliable sources. The other editor who posted the criticism just made it catch attention i'm affraid to say, which resulted in the nomination from my side.
