Hey Bms4880; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to National Conservation Exposition may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Sequoyah Hills

[edit]

Could you fix the sidebar claim that Sequoyah Hills is 18 acres in size? I realize it's sourced, but it's also ridiculous. The article itself goes onto describe the neighborhood as being several thousand acres large, detailing multiple several hundred acre developments.

Being home to thousands of estates, many of which individually represent 2-3 acres makes this longstanding claim pretty moronic. The green space alone far surpasses this claim. It would be like claiming Barack Obama is 2-inches tall...

174.50.242.82 (talk) 17:24, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That figure refers to the Talahi Improvements National Register listing, not the entire neighborhood. Bms4880 (talk) 17:27, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
From the perspective of the actual page (not the notes on the edit page), it says "Area: 18 acres." If you want to post just the size of the Talahi Improvements Area, wouldn't it make more sense to give that its own page, or at least put that figure within a subsection?
174.50.242.82 (talk) 18:45, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The infobox refers only to the Talahi area. Thus the box's title. If an infobox on the president's page were entitled "Obama's forehead," people would know the two inches referred only to his forehead. I've added a second note for clarification. Bms4880 (talk) 18:53, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) I see the issue, and I relocated the infobox to address the problem. Because of the way infoboxes are rendered on smartphones and in various metadata applications, the infobox (which was the very first data in the article) appeared to describe all of Sequoyah Hills. Hopefully the repositioning of the infobox will resolve this. If not, it may be necessary to get rid of the infobox or split the article. --Orlady (talk) 19:17, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just believe it's a better image. Mine shows the front (west) half, at a better angle. Yours shows the north face. Yours isn't a bad photograph. Since you had the article first, I'll just put mine somewhere else on the page if you like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ufos8mycow00 (talkcontribs) 00:15, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
