Orphaned non-free image (Image:Iscae.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Iscae.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:40, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:BAMLogo.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BAMLogo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:35, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo-kac.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Logo-kac.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Logo-kac.gif[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Logo-kac.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Morocco national futsal team, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://medlibrary.org/w/index.php?title=Morocco_national_futsal_team&action=edit. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Helala Boys[edit]

A tag has been placed on Helala Boys requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

Thanks for uploading Image:Escp-logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

UEFA Five-star Stadia[edit]

Can you prove that Wembley Stadium and the Emirates Stadium are five-star stadia? I have not seen any evidence to support this claim. – PeeJay 12:05, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Both have been shortlisted to host the Champions League final in 2010~and 2011, this means that they will be 5 stars by soon. Brio-En (talk) 12:54, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is that the case for every stadium that is shortlisted to host a Champions League final? I know that only five-star stadia can host the Champions League final, but I didn't think that merely being shortlisted to host the final automatically granted five-star status. Can you perhaps cite this regulation? – PeeJay 13:41, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

African scores[edit]

Please only update the scores and the tables if you are sure the results are final (possibly by checking the FIFA webpage). Updating during the games cause a lot of confusion 'cos people may think those scores are final. Chanheigeorge (talk) 14:54, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Compagnie bancaire de l'Afrique occidentale" Move[edit]

Hi. Your well intentioned move of "Banque d'Afrique Occidentale" to "Compagnie bancaire de l'Afrique occidentale" will have to be reverted. The "Compagnie bancaire de l'Afrique occidentale" is the 2007 name change of the Banque internationale pour l'Afrique occidentale (BIAO). The article in question is about the pre-independence "Banque d'Afrique Occidentale", a different institution altogether, which was entirely rechartered in 1962 and again in 1965. This should have its own article in en.wikipedia, but does not yet appear to. At very least, there should be reference to the post independence history if you wish to change the articles name to that of the CBAO. As it stands the name CBAO is not even mentioned in the article, and thus is a poor candidate to change the title of the article to this name. I understand that a Moroccan company about which you've written (on fr.wikipedia) has taken over this bank and portrays itself as the inheritor of the BAO, but without third party references to this or even any mention of this in the article, it's hard to make the case for a change in the article's name to match this.

The move that is needed is to the English language title of this institution, per English language Wikipedia's longstanding policy that all titles of foreign entities should be translated into English. I would suggest Bank of West Africa (BAO).

Perhaps you could start the Banking Company of West Africa to fill this void?

In future, it's a good idea to float moves on the talk page of articles before making anything other than minor moves, in order to avoid such mistakes.

Sorry for any bother, T L Miles (talk) 20:04, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Wac-logo.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 10:00, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Botola 2009–10, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Botola 2008–09. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Proposed deletion of Ranking of Moroccan football clubs by revenue[edit]

The article Ranking of Moroccan football clubs by revenue has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

List is two seasons out of date, and it fails a number of "Dont's" at WP:LISTCRUFT

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GiantSnowman 14:58, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 944 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag.
