Hiya, please be aware that creative works are written in the present tense ("is", over "was" -- as they're not "were" because they still exist). Matthew 18:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure where you sourced "Most ordinary people (ie [sic] outside Wikipedia) would refer to a former programme as 'was'" from, and I indeed knew who you are.. but did not bring it up. "You assume the is/was refers to whether the programme exists; thats [sic] wrong", I've not seen any evidence to suggest otherwise. Wikipedia's MoS is clear on this. "Stupid" is your opinion. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not an informal conversation (dur!) -- you go "retire" again, if you must... or you could make some constructive edits, instead of going against the MoS. Matthew 19:12, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The MoS for shows

[edit]

The relevant section is the last line here [1] and this applies even if only a few minutes of the show exist. The rule still applies as it did last April. MarnetteD | Talk 14:36, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
