Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kmart, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Don't add that improperly sourced table again, and don't add information about possible future closings of stores that are still open. Add that when and if they close. Meters (talk) 18:05, 3 August 2021 (UTC)2[reply]

"Don't add that improperly sourced table again, and don't add information about possible future closings of stores that are still open." Excuse me? Since the Google Doc isn't a reliable source, the information DOES come directly from the Kmart store locator. I did not include ANY information about possible store closings, so what are you referring to? The Astor Place Kmart IS closed, which is MENTIONED AND SOURCED. The Freedom and South Lake Tahoe stores are also closing this month, and they are SOURCED as well. Nowhere did I mention possible store closings for stores that aren't closing. Get a clue and research yourself before you repeatedly come after my contributions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brse2021 (talkcontribs) 20:04, August 3, 2021 (UTC)

Please sign your talk page posts.
The KMART store locator still lists that store despite the source saying that it has closed, and that's exactly what the article says. We don't nned to mention stores that may close until they actually do close.. And the rest of you table appears to be WP:OR. Take it to the article's talk page or leave it alone. Meters (talk) 07:45, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Dont add the table again" you brought it here in the first place buddy. I will continue to add the table. You want closed stores on it? I'll add em for ya. Just inaccurate information that you seem persistent on including in there. Don't respond to this, end of conversation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brse2021 (talkcontribs) 22:22, August 5, 2021 (UTC)

You're welcome. Meters (talk)

I'm also reporting you for harassment on the administrators noticeboard. You're welcome too.

Table[edit]

So what happened to that table on Kmart's page? Did you give up on adding it? 173.241.182.119 (talk) 22:37, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

One of the admins on Wikipedia named Meters has been constantly harassing me after adding the chart. He was saying that the chart comes from unrealiable sources. For references, the Kmart store locator lists 20 stores total. 3 of those stores are closed/are closing this month, which were not included on the table. Articles that show each of the store's closings were cited, leaving 17 remaining open stores. Still, he continues to remove the table and claims that it is not reliable information. I have readded the table each time with new sources, yet it continues to be taken down by Meters and I've been threatened to lose editing privileges by Meters. I've reported him for harassment as he has also gone through all of my other edits and taken them down when sources were provided. Clearly I am not the only one who has had an issue with him, as others have gotten into conflict with him over his attitude on his talk page. I would love to readd the table, but cannot because of him. Brse2021 (talk) 00:29, 7 August 2021 (UTC) brse2021[reply]

Please provide evidence of where you have "reported him [me] for harassment". You are required to inform me of an ANI report , which you have not done. I see no such report in your edit history, so, either you are falsely claiming to have reported me, or you socked to report me and did not inform me. Not a good idea either way. By the way, accusing me of harassment is a serious claim. To do so without providing evidence is a personal attack. You will be the one at WP:ANI if you keep this up. Meters (talk) 02:29, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And I'm not an admin and have never claimed to be one. Meters (talk) 02:35, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The constant intimidation by you is uncalled for. You constantly stalking my talk page and edits clearly shows that you're looking to pick apart everything because you're upset about my Kmart page edits. Im done speaking to you and you should quit coming back to this page.

Buddy, the way you implied it above, I thought you were going to keep adding that table, despite the warnings, and I was kinda hoping you would, so I was disappointed that you chose to back down, even with the possibility of your editing privileges removed. I thought you would refuse to back down. I don't want to get flagged for a personal attack, so I won't write anything too specific, but if you look at the Talk page for the Kmart article, I too have had similar experiences as to what you had, so I was hoping that you would be a martyr for justice and keep pushing your table (so that I wouldn't have to), LOL. Yes, I'm selfish! 173.241.182.119 (talk) 21:00, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, enough about him. Constructive idea here. Why not put up the table, EXACTLY referencing what is on Kmart's website? Then there will be no original research. You can also source to a notation, as to the 1 listed store (Astor place NY), that is closed but still listed. BUT YOU STILL LIST IT. That way your table matches exactly with the Kmart website and it's 100% sourced. Also, don't remove the 2 closing CA Kmarts until they actually close. If they persist on the Kmart website after August 22, then just leave them on your table, perhaps with a footnote to the source (if and when) they close. Thoughts? 173.241.182.119 (talk) 21:05, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That’s a good idea. I’ll work on reconstructing the table tomorrow. I’ll also remove the opening dates from the table so it won’t contain any original research. Thank you for the motivation - glad to see somebody back me up on this! Brse2021 (talk) 01:05, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I'm behind you 100%! I have wanted that table there for Years, and I'm glad you did it because quite frankly, I don't even Know how to do it. But the problem is, someone freaking removed it again! We can't Win for trying! No matter what, somebody keeps removing it and is very annoying. Also, I hope you indeed filed a complaint, as you mentioned above. I totally agree with your position on that matter. 173.241.182.119 (talk) 23:18, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I guess, you went from being adamant about replacing your table no matter what, to having backed off, as it appears I'm the only 1 there now arguing for it. If you were going to back off, you could have mentioned it, as I thought you were a martyr who would absolutely fight to the finish over this 1 issue. I guess you weren't.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Kmart. Would you please use the talk page properly? Do not insert your replies in front of existing replies. You addressed a reply to user:MrOllie and inserted it in front of MrOllie's reply that started "Excellent point, BRSE2021". That appears to be an intentional attempt to make it appear as if MrOllie was agreeing with your new post rather than your original post. Meters (talk) 19:04, 12 August 2021 (UTC) [reply]

Meters, That 'Excellent point' bit was written by an IP. BRSE2021 put their reply in more or less the proper place, they just needed one extra level of indentation. MrOllie (talk) 20:20, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies to you both. Meters (talk) 20:23, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
