Utah Republican Party[edit]

Hi -- I'm one of the online ambassadors for your class, and I just wanted to let you know I removed most of the links you added to the Utah Republican Party. The links were related to the topic, but not closely enough to include. Wikipedia tries to include the minimum of external links, and they are supposed to be directly relevant to the topic. General pages related to Republicanism aren't really that closely related to the Utah Republican Party; those pages might be good links on e.g. the page about the national party. The Wikipedia guideline is here, if you are interested. The other material you added looks fine -- though it would be great if you could give the source for the details you provided.

Sorry to cut out some of your work, but I hope I can help if you have any questions. Just let me know, here or on my talk page.

Thanks -- Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 02:01, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another note -- I see you've added some section headings. It's fine to do that while you're working on the article, but if you pack it in for the night without adding anything under the section heading, please delete it -- it doesn't help readers to have empty sections. Alternatively, you might develop each section in a sandbox and move it in when you have it ready. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 02:55, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Elephant1.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Elephant1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 02:02, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I found the probable source -- [1] -- and have posted a question asking if it's OK to use the file. I'll let you know what I find out. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 02:52, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
