Hello, Bruvuk, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Edit warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Alois P. Swoboda. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Woody (talk) 23:02, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Strandpulling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. CtP (tc) 23:11, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

suggestion

[edit]

you have to write something before you submit a new page. At least the definition or some other stuff. You can edit your article in your user page first to prevent speedy deletion. :) --Yhz1221 (talk) 05:57, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there!

[edit]

And, again, welcome. I appreciate your willingness to contribute to Wikipedia (since these days, people tend to vandalize it instead), but, unfortunately, your recent article Strandpulling didn't seem to be quite ready to be out just yet.

Don't panic though, I have taken the liberty of moving it to a sort of User sandbox. You can find it at User:Bruvuk/Strandpulling, where you can work on it for as long as you need to (and feel free to contact me if you need assistance), and then, when you're done, we can move it back to the article space.

Once again, thank you for your contributions, and, again, welcome!--Unionhawk Talk E-mail 06:00, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Strandpulling, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Strongmen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
