Credits on Justified[edit]

As I pointed out before, those artists are uncredited, in the physical album/tracklist and on iTunes. Those album tracks/singles have been referred to as solo tracks with no featurings, they chartes with only his name as well. Like most uncredited artist, their name are added on the liner notes. It is not spelled like anywhere and per WP:COMMONNAME and his official Twitter account as well as third party reliable sources like this and this. The normal spelling is what he goes by. Personnel[edit]

I just want to let you know that you're formatting Personnel sections incorrectly. it's supposed to be "Name - function", and not the other way around. Please check WP:MOSALBUM on other formatting styles. I'm not trying to be rude. I just work toward a consistent formatting throughout album pages. Hello. Thank you for pointing out your concern. Curiously the formatting for the 'Personnel' sections I have been adding were taken from the format in various other album articles with way bigger profiles. Not sure which album articles use the format you mentioned, but apparently the majority of recent pop albums do not follow it. But maybe I'll try this format you mentioned from now on. That's weird because I've seen the opposite. The majority of articles I come across follow the Name - function format. It's in the album style guide. I'm a stickler for following it so whenever I come across something out of the ordinary, I change it :). I have edited probably over 10k album pages and the Personnel section is formatted correctly 80% of the time. Articles like: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Joanne (album) and so on which I've not extensively edited on all have followed suit. Hmm... Well it does sound you have more experience on the matter... However, this year I've been helping out a bit in album articles predominantly (discographies by Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson...) and I never touched the Personnel section in those articles, maybe just to add a missing credit here or there, and if my mind serves right they had the same pattern I'm using to add the sections to the RBD albums. As a reference, check out Piece by Piece, Wrapped in Red (Kelly Clarkson albums). I went over them a bit very recently, but the Personnel section already appeared in the format I was mentioning so I didn't edited them as to me the layout was logical, easy to read and seemed to be the norm in most album articles I'd seen so far.. ...Though I see, you already went ahead and re-arranged... Yep. I already fixed those. I have 2 python scripts they help me do it faster. I can't tell if it sounds like you're disagreeing with me. Secondly, your edits are greatly appreciated on related articles by Mars. Thirdly, if you want to add some stuff it is great. But be sure it is backed up by the source or add a new source with more information. For instance what you did to the "Other Side music video" it was well done. On the other hand, "Shot in Venice Beach, California", it is not on a given source. If you want you can add one that has such information if you do so, I'll leave it alone. I added the changes you did on "Nothin' on You" MV, if you want you can still keep editing the others as I already stated above your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Sorry that you had to read my deleted comments on your talk page; the reason I deleted them was that I regretted having being that brash, and I decided a simple question sufficed as to the reason why you deleted my additions. But as many things, sometimes I can't take things completely back.

I did saw you thanked me for edits on the main Bruno Mars article and discography, and I really appreciate it. But, likewise, I got majorally irked when I saw you reverted the edits on the Bruno music video section, especially when some of the descriptions were seriously lacking, etc., and I blasted back and posted to your talk page what I suddenly thought, but right after posting I thought I went overboard and tried to rectify. Too late I guess.

Notes about stylisations[edit]

Notes about stylisations are being considered redundant by increasing numbers of editors because they are trivial in most instances. I guarantee Tha Supreme being written as "Thasup" in a few cases, and his latest album's title are not the only thing FIMI "stylises" and I don't see why this is necessary to note or why you've chosen this particular artist and album to point out the stylisation of. Do you think "Thasup" and the album title are indeciperhable otherwise? If you insist on having the footnotes, please start a discussion on the talk page as your bold edit instating them has been reverted (per WP:BRD). MOS:CAPS, WP:TMRULES and so on tell us that we should disregard stylisations and type things in line with Wikipedia's standard capitalisation, so I did that in the first place. A title full of symbols (that has been typed 'normally' in news sources as well) is more preferable to having the stylised title present, even in a note, which seems like a very minor detail, and would be more suited for an article actually about the work in question and not on a number ones list. Finally, adding 200 bytes [1] is never a minor edit and not what a minor edit is intended to denote, so please don't mark it as such. Thank you. Ss112 15:22, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed only edits of 500 bytes or more are considered major, even the bytes amount is THEN marked in bold, not UNDER 500 bytes.

In any case, I don’t have any issue with the notes being eliminated (although they were informative), but at least in my recent memory on these charts no other artist appeared credited with a different name aside from Tha Supreme, so I thought it was noteworthy. I also noted FIMI very rarely writes title names stylized, so that's why I thought it was noteworthy as well.

In any case, at least I'm aware of these name and title differences, so I thought I'd inform the public. I fully understand you were editing in good faith and only wanted to avoid any potential confusion from readers and so I respect that. As for Wikipedia's bolding of how many bytes were added to/taken away from a page in the history, I think that's just a different indication of significance, as WP:MINOR states "A good rule of thumb is that edits consisting solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of the content should be flagged as minor edits."
