Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Arora, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 11:09, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sanctions[edit]

I feel that this back-and-forth at Arora has gone on long enough. Please note our policy regarding verifiability, our need for reliable sources and our attitude to edit warring. We also have specific sanctions in place for articles such as this, as demonstrated in the messagebox below. I am happy to help you learn how to contribute to Wikipedia but you really do need to start talking and stop reverting. I'll add this page to my watchlist and so will see any responses that you might make. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 16:40, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

April 2013[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Arora. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Charles (talk) 13:15, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

... And again. You cannot insert names of people and claim them to be Aroras without sources, in particular when those people are still living. - Sitush (talk) 13:41, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for violation of Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups, as you did at Arora. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  regentspark (comment) 14:48, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

NB: Above block was increased to indefinite. - Sitush (talk) 18:46, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
