Nice evaluation of the article, Brian. Interesting that a Mass Comm class edited a section that looks promising. You point out some areas that can be improved.Carolyncunningham (talk) 20:54, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Vanessa's Peer Review[edit]

A lead section that is easy to understand

  • I never knew there was a developed name to calling out people for various things. The article informs me from the beginning the meaning of what the topic is and gives examples also for what it's about.

A clear structure

  • A lot of time and talent has been placed into this article already and shows a lot of progress, potential, and further growth

Balanced coverage

  • It gives the idea of what the topic is, various names for the topic but also highlights just enough what the alternative is

Neutral content

  • Balanced work

Reliable sources

  • Sources are valid not a lot of red links which is always nice in my opinion. Definitely developing in a positive effort

First, what does the article do well?

  • In your edit of the lead it was clear and concise. You added to the structure which makes it easier to follow along

Is there anything from your review that impressed you?

  • I had no idea of this topic, it makes me want to learn more about it and periodically check the page as well

Any turn of phrase that describes the subject in a clear way?

  • Culture is the phrase most intriguing because it is reflecting that it is a way of life or a habit something that in some way has already been accepted, learned, and passed on.

What changes would you suggest the author apply to the article?

  • Continue to keep it neutral. I'm surprised Chrissy Teigen isn't mentioned in the article. Her tweets are always calling out someone or something.

Why would those changes be an improvement?

  • Looking at other activists, celebrities, public speakers, etc helps to show just how much we are in some way a part of the call-out culture. It would help to see how it's used often in society

What's the most important thing the author could do to improve the article?

  • Continuing to provide the reliable sources and helpful links

Did you notice anything about the article you reviewed that could be applicable to your own article?

  • The structure of the content and the various examples relevant to today's time are always intriguing.

    • I attempted to expand the "examples" section but another contributor (who feels more like the page's moderator if you ask me) removed it. Another contributor appreciated the additions I made and I've tried to be sensitive to the nature of the page because the contributors seem to be very passionate about it...which I think is a bit of a violation of Wiki rules...right? lol.Btorszag (talk) 03:16, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
