Feedback from instructor on Wiki 1

[edit]

The following feedback relates to the "Wiki 1" assignment.

Sandbox

[edit]

You seem to have confused Sandbox with Talk Page. Sandbox is the place for practicing edits, preparing article drafts, etc.

Heading, sub-heading, normal sentence, and bold, all look good.

You're missing a sentence in Italics and a link to a Wikipedia page. To see how these are done, see a classmate's sandbox or consult Wikipedia's Student Tutorial.

You're also missing a footnote to a reference in a reference list at the bottom of the page. This is what a footnote would look like.[2] This has generated a References heading and put your previous footnote in. To see how to do this, click the "Edit" tab for this Talk Page and scroll down to the script, or see Wikipedia's Student Tutorial chapter on referencing.

Leaving a comment on a classmate's Talk Page

[edit]

Try leaving a comment on another classmate's Talk Page, not your own.

Hi there. Just make sure that every factual statement is followed by a source (including the statements you introduced in the lede). You should also be mindful of WP:SYNTH. Good luck. :) Wiqi(55) 18:38, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
