- I am making this changes because Tutsi are Not Bantu, they are Nilotic. Hutus ethic group and Twa are only Bantu living in Rwanda, and Burundi. Just because Tutsi speaks Bantu language which is kinyarwanda doesn't make them Bantu. this is well know history that Tutsi are Nilotic. We all have to make wikipedia better and not maked up things.All books listed as a reference are from 1994.Rwanda history didn't start from 1994.Thank you. - According to most historians and Tutsi scholars, Tutsi are Nilotic ethnic group. they originally came to Rwanda from Ethiopia in the 15th century. Although played down by the current Rwanda government which is trying to rewrite history to fit their narrative. Thank you Bukamba78 (talk) 12:12, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with both of you. So, on the one hand, the Tutsi are indeed bantu-speaking (as the article said) which does not mean their ancestors arrived in Rwanda with the Bantu expansion, they probably came later and from somewhere in north-east Africa; on the other hand, Bukamba78, you cannot writhe this just like that, you need to find a reliable source and quote it, as Gwennie-nyan says. Hello Mr.Larry, I removed and edited content from Tutsi because TUTSI are Nilotic ethnic group in Rwanda and Burundi.
Rwanda has three ethnic groups.
Hutu or Abahutu who are Bantu ethnic group,
Tutsi or Abatutsi who are Nilotic ethnic group and
Twa or Abatwa who are Batwa ethnic group. This is very well known,written and recorded Rwandan history. There is no such thing as Wahuma , wahima,wahinda,Imfure in Rwanda. Ethinic groups are important and because that is how we evolve as people. For example it is well known that Elon musk is White South African, and it is ok to correct it if someone tries to write in Wikepidia that he is black zulu South Africa. Rwanda History didn't not start 1994. Thank you.

Replying to allegations that I persisted unsourced controversial edits in article Tutsi[edit]

Putting the statement "the tutsi are bantu-speaking" in the introductory section is misleading and controversial. In addition to Kinyarwanda and Kirundi, a lot of Tutsis also speak French. And those Tutsis who were exiled in Uganda speak Luganda. It would be a mistake to say Tutsis are French or Ugandan by origin simply because they speak French and Luganda. The "Origin of Tutsi" section is the more appropriate section to address languages. Secondly, I always provide sources for all my edits, please see the entries. I am happy to rectify mistakes which are pointed out, but any thought of banning me is a clear indication of the need by some to rewrite history and deliberately mislead people. The writer may wish to know that I am aware of the said Rwanda civil war and Genocide and I take the need for accurate information seriously in order to avoid a repeat of history. The said neutral section by the author is misleading by employing the term "probable" when it is a fact they are nilotic. Here are additional references in case you still have questions/concerns.
