A tag has been placed on Grant Town Goon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Hoax

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kannie | talk 02:06, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Grant Town Goon[edit]

I have nominated Grant Town Goon, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Grant Town Goon. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Rexicanthemexican". The reason given for Rexicanthemexican's block is: "Vandalism-only account".

Decline reason: Checkuser-verified as same editor. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 18:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please explain your connection if any to the "Rexicanthemexican"? I find your connection with Grant Town Goon and Rexicanthemexican's Fairmont freak rather suspicious. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:44, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the IP address you gave is a static IP address meaning it is unlikely you would be autoblocked for the transgressions of someone not in your household. --B (talk) 17:35, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Burnsfessler for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Alexfusco5 17:13, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Lick (stream), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
