Welcome

[edit]

Firstly, calm down, nobody is attacking you, but if you continue shouting, you'll end up blocked, which I don't want because I can see you're trying to help. Secondly, your page wasn't deleted, its here User:Bus Master-Transit Bus/Gallery since it was inappropriate where it was. Please try to be civil with other editors, they are only doing what they believe to be best for the project, and are not attacking you personally in any way. --Jac16888Talk 03:11, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And another thing. Simply adding the admin box to your userpage does not make you one, to be an admin you have to have all your edits examined and have the community decide you can be trusted. Pretending to be one is likely to get you blocked. Please do not add it to your userpage again, and carry on editing about your buses instead. Thanks--Jac16888Talk 03:30, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Username confusion

[edit]

I don't see any evidence that you are the same account as User:Bus. Could you clarify the basis for redirecting that user's page to yours? DMacks (talk) 01:25, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you're not the same account, it's not appropriate to set a redirect from someone else's account to yours, or use someone else's userspace for your purposes without that person's okay. I've gone ahead and undone them. DMacks (talk) 01:33, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Sneaky Stockwell

[edit]

The article Sneaky Stockwell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No ghits.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Clubmarx (talk) 02:04, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Haper. Since you had some involvement with the Haper redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. AmaryllisGardener talk 02:18, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Bus Master-Transit Bus,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.

Best regards, SteviethemanDelivered: 01:11, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
