Your essay
Hey B7. Just wanted to leave a note that I've mentioned you and one of your great essays here. It's a new user that's had a lot of the same bad experiences that I've had. I just wanted to be courteous and let you know about it. Best regards. - Hydroxonium (T•C•V) 02:53, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Guild of Copy Editors November 2011 backlog elimination drive report
Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors November 2011 Backlog elimination drive! We would like to thank all who participated in this drive. Here is the end-of-drive report.
There were 48 editors who signed-up for this drive, of which 35 participated. Thank you to everyone who helped reduce the size of the backlog!
During the drive, we reduced the backlog by 232 articles, or by about 6%. This is a two percent increase from our September drive, when we copy edited 4% of the backlog. We were successful in our primary goal of clearing the oldest three months—March, April, and May 2010—from the queue. Thanks to all who helped copy edit these difficult articles. Thus far we have reduced the copy edit backlog by 5086 articles, or by about 61%. End-of-drive results and barnstar information can be found here.
The term of our second tranche of coordinators has run out, and we will be accepting nominations from December 5, 00:01 UTC to December 15, 23:59 UTC. If you or any other member of the Guild of Copy Editors wishes to be a coordinator, add your name to this page along with a statement describing why you believe you should be a coordinator for the Guild. You must be able to commit to a six month term. Thanks! Once again, thank you for participating in the Guild's November 2011 Backlog elimination drive! Our next drive will be in January, and we hope to see you there! Your drive coordinators – Diannaa, Chaosdruid, The Utahraptor, Slon02 and SMasters |

- I have to say, it's feels odd and a bit uncomfortable editing an essay in somebody else's userspace. I'd like to do a bunch of work on this, but it doesn't feel quite right. It feels like I'm walking on your toes, so to speak. I'll keep going, but please do fix anything I mess up. OK? Thanks. - Hydroxonium (T•C•V) 04:59, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Good Sir, The article is duplicated at the discussion page. So no Problem. In fact, there is a version that I like better somewhere in the history. Don't worry. If I didn't want it edited I should have kept it in the closet, next to my suit of, you guessed it, armor. Be bold! Buster Seven Talk 05:30, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Fix this article
Hello Buster7, Please request possible.
Can you fix this article (Corbin Bleu), delete the non-reliable sources. And to delete the template at the top of the article. Such as this (version).
And check spelling errors, Please. I do not know why this person wants to distort the article. See the contributions of the article, please. I see this article you need to repair, rather than not to repair this article. --2.88.112.138 (talk) 20:12, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Self censorship
Hi. I note this edit [1]. The problem with self-censorship is that it removes part of the record. Conversations no longer (to a greater or lesser extent) make so much sense, if parts of it are removed. It's up to you but I hope you will restore what you wrote. Regards. --Kleinzach 01:58, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- No one else commented or responded. My comment was in error. I saw, and see, no reason for it to stay. Plus, it had an un-necessary "bite' to it. Buster Seven Talk 06:04, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
My comment had no reason to stay. It was pointless of me to comment on something that Editor:Lionelt had already resolved. You commented on the inaccuracy and he fixed it, which I did not notice. My comment was sitting out there, in space, un-necessarily. I understand the reason for my self-edit. I rarely make this type of mistake. Normally, I hold the talk history sacred. But I must say that there is a free-wheeling aspect to the talk at Project:Conservatism. I see no problem in removing my comment.Buster Seven Talk 05:28, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- Let's keep this here. Your comment certainly was more direct than mine! I think my point is basically that the "free-wheeling aspect to the talk at Project:Conservatism" exacerbates the problem. People adding, moving, reverting text all over the place make it all a bit anarchic. Anyway you've made your decision and we can pass on. --Kleinzach 07:06, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- That's twice now that you have told me what to do. I feel your editing style at the Project has exacerbated the problem, but I have kept my opinion to myself. Please do me the same courtesy.Buster Seven Talk 07:14, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- You must have misread me. In my second message I didn't tell you to do anything. --Kleinzach 09:09, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

One thing I should have said at the beginning is that many people use strike out (e.g.These are my first thoughts) to indicate they have changed their minds. That way the original stays on the page, but everyone knows you have withdrawn it. --Kleinzach 23:50, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I see now what you mean. I should have just left it struck instead of undoing it. O well---live and learn. You and I may be the only two that noticed Lionelt obfuscation. Thanks for the advice about striking.Buster Seven Talk 00:31, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!
Hey Buster,
I hope you're having a good time this holiday season. I'm out doing my usual Christmas stuff; trying to go as fast as possible through the snow without splattering into a tree. So far so good. With all of the snow we've got this year, especially in the last few days, the riding conditions are perfect. Not too cold; not too many moguls; smooth riding for the most part. I think we averaged ~ 60 MPH today, getting up to 80 to 120 on the rivers. Anyway, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a great New Year! Zaereth (talk) 08:00, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
I thought all the moguls were in NY NY looking for "the Donalds" new hair stylist. You Alaskavites, Alaskonians, Alaskites guys that live in Alaska sure know how to have a good time. Hope your Holidays are as wonderful as they sound. The highlite of my day was the Avacado dip. Take care.Buster Seven Talk 08:28, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Editor Hy's Christmas present/A Visual bar
A visual bar can be added several ways.

for "horizontal rule", will add a bar across the whole screen. Like this.
Visual bar
Or one can use an underline using
as in some text here
like this.
Visual bar
There are a few other ways also if these are not quite what you're looking for. - Hydroxonium (T•C•V) 23:00, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
