Request reason:
I feel an indefinite block is a bit harsh. I was just having a joke around and I am sorry for the vandalism I caused. I will accept the block but as I have made constructive contributions to Wikipedia before and this is not a vandalism-only account and it is a shared IP address perhaps it should be maybe a month or something instead? Sorry about the vandalism and thank you for your consideration. I won't do it again. Byeitical (talk · contribs) 22:21, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I see an account making some good edits up to 2009, then nothing till a burst of inexplicable vandalism in 2011. This is almost as if two different people were concerned. The repeated and silly moves of the Tornado article don't look like a 'joke around', and if they were considered that by the perpetrator would show someone possibly unfit to be editing. You'll have to do better than that to convince me to unblock you. Perhaps a fuller explanation of the editing gap and these vandalisms might convince someone. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to LNER Peppercorn Class A1 60163 Tornado, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.
Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 17:55, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
