BLP PROD
I've removed the BLP PROD tag you placed on Luang Yuthasastr Kosol, as he is not a living person and that tag only applies to living people. TonyBallioni (talk) 05:25, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
Categories and drafts
Hello,
Please do not add categories to pages in draftspace. See WP:DRAFTNOCAT for further information. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 15:17, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
PS, Also, please be aware of subcategories. For example, at Draft:Sheyene Gerardi, the page (if in mainspace) would be placed in one (or both if applicable) of the two sub-categories of Category:Venezuelan actresses by century which is itself a sub-category of Category:Venezuelan actresses which in turn is a sub cat of Category:Venezuelan women by occupation, which yet again is a sub-cat of Venezuelan women. Always place articles in the most specific sub-cat and don't place in a sub-cat and parent cat at the same time. Please see WP:SUBCAT for more information. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 15:53, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
PPS, Also, please don't link major geographical locations, such as countries or continents. Please see WP:OLINK. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 21:38, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
- Eagleash, thanks for the advice.

MMA Articles
First of all I have to say I like your work on the MMA fighters. Well written, well referenced and best of all they feel like there is a story to them in a good way. The one issue I do have is that many of the creations don't yet meet WP:NMMA which was hashed out over a long period of time and fight results and specially magazine refs don't necessarily contribute to WP:GNG. Does that mean I would take them to AfD? No - for the simple reason that the fighters you are putting up are currently fighting successfully in the UFC and therefore on their way to meeting the notability conditions. My general rule of thumb is that if there is one recent top tier win then let it ride and also I just hate AfDs created too quickly. There are some examples of new articles that will eventually go to AfD I am sure - especially those with a single reference.PRehse (talk) 07:38, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
- With respect to Abdul-Kerim Edilov his reported return is still several months away and although predicted fr me time has been just that predictions. The speedy delete might still be declined but really just signing with the UFC is no guarantee he will actually fight. It is still very WP:CRYSTAL.PRehse (talk) 07:46, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

List of ufc fighters
The order of the fighters is supposed to be by how long they've been a part of the UFC, not their record. This is why there is an option to sort by record, so the order doesn't have to be updated every time someone fights. If you could please revent the order of the fighters back to when they first joined the UFC, that would be much appreciated. Cheers! EvertonFC13(talk2me) 17:34, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Reason for Darren Till revert
The reason I reverted your edit made on Darren Till's bio is that it had flaws. Nicknames don't belong in the first sentence where the article is introduced, so Darren "The Gorilla" Till. in that first paragraph would be incorrect. Secondly, where you put "Colin Heron - Head Coach" under the "teacher" is also incorrect. Look at Conor McGregor's infobox for proper styling for coaches.
Anyway, hope this explains why the revert was made. TBMNY (talk) 12:52, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
October 2017
Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Enrique Barzola. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! UFC 217 Results
Ok, if you are going by Sherdog's results then the Cody Garbrandt vs. TJ Dillashaw result should be changed to TKO and not KO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.17.220.229 (talk) 18:58, 12 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi 78.17.220.229, Thank you for your comment above. Please note that the MMA results are recorded as per per Sherdog's web site, http://www.sherdog.com/events/UFC-217-Bisping-vs-St-Pierre-61989, according to Wikipedia MMA guideline. Please see below and you could visit WP:MMABOX, as I have indicated in the edit summary, for further information. Kindly sign by typing "4 x ~" at the end of your message next time. Thank you
- In the column Method, unless sources within the body text of the article state otherwise, always use the result that is available in a fighter's record at Sherdog Fight Finder. Do not use your interpretation of a fight result in the record, as the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth.Any result that is not referenced or that is not the same as in Sherdog, must be returned to how it is described in Sherdog.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 21:50, 12 November 2017 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
Hello CASSIOPEIA. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- URGENT: Please consider helping get the huge backlog down to a manageable number of pages as soon as possible.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Poirier/Pettis result
I contacted the DPOR (the Virginia commission) and they sent me the result sheet for the event: https://dbr.ee/N3dz
In WP:MMABOX, it says " unless sources within the body text of the article state otherwise" which all the Wikipedia pages involving the fight have. This is settled. TBMNY (talk) 21:07, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- @TBMNY: Thank you for your comment. Sources
Hey man, how are you? I'd like to say thanks for helping with the mma articles but there's an issue I'd like to talk about. When it comes to adding a source in an article, you always add it in different style than the rest of the article. Could you pick a source from the same article and just paste the info on it so we can have a pattern for the sources? Thanks. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 13:19, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Gsfelipe94: Thanks for asking and the lady is well here; believe you are doing the same in Brazil. I always cited the source using Visual editor WP:REFTOOLS and I dont quite understand what you meant by "diff style than the rest of the article". Kindly help to explain further. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:32, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, I somehow assumed by your username that you were male. Anyway, what I meant is that the type of script you use for sources is different than the rest of the other ones. When you want to add an info to an article, pick a source there and just paste info on it as you do it. It makes all of them look similar. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 04:26, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Gsfelipe94: I am not offended by you had mistaken me as a male as I believe there are not many active female contributors edit the MMA pages in Wikipedia. It is all good. Thank you for explaining, however, I still dont understand what you meant by "type of script". Kindly provide example and explain further. As I said above, I use Visual editor WP:REFTOOLS to cite the source by copy and paste the webpage URL of the source into the into the "automatic URL" of Visual editor tool window. The tool will automatically generated the info (the script) within the <ref> script <ref>. 05:45, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- When I update an article, I go directly to it and just copy an old source there and paste the info from the source I'm adding. The method you use make the sources look different than the rest when you take a look at the "References" section. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 23:36, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

- @Gsfelipe94:, I believe you cite manually by copy and paste technique. The tool I used part of Wikipedia automation tool which is well under Wikipedia policy of use, but so it show a little change of format as compared that of yours/manually. You are welcome to change my citing ifyou want the citing format looks uniform in a page. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 17:12, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

notability of Nicco Montaño
Hi there, this in regards to the tag you placed on the article. You've been editing MMA articles for a while and so it's safe to assume you watch UFC? Either way, Montaño is a finalist on the most recent season of TUF and as such, she will be fighting for the inaugural UFC Women's Flyweight Championship. That alone should be grounds for notability and on top of that, it' s essentially a given that she'll have at least three fights with a top tier organization (UFC). If a title challenger in the top MMA organization is not notable, then there are serious flaws in the guidelines for MMA notability. Tagging User:Dimspace because they were the first to remove a notability tag from the article. Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 12:47, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Alexander Gustafsson: I have been watching UFC since UFC 93 in 2009. Montano is not qualified for MMA fighter nobility criteria in Wikipedia. Note: TUF / Dana Tuesday Night fight are not considered a UFC proper event, but they are fillers. When fighter make it to UFC flagship,UFC Fight Night event or UFC on Fox then that is considered a UFC event fight. To qualify wikipedia MMA nobility, a fighter needs to have 3 fights with top tier promoters, UFC and Invicta. Please read WP:MMABIO and WP:MMATIER. The article such as Montano is usually to be proposed for deletion by Wikipedia MMA administrator. There have been many discussions on proposing change of fighters nobility in Wikipedia, you would check them out on Wikipedia MMA project page. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 17:06, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- You listed only one of the criterion for a notable MMA fighter. The other is if a fighter has fought for a top level championship in a top tier organization. And Montano is about to do so in 96 hours. So the tag is silly. Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 21:17, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Alexander Gustafsson:, when it has happened than it could be removed. As you know in MMA world anything could happen as it always has and that is the reason why it is tag such and not propose for deletion.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 04:29, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- A week out from the fight,. All the promo is being done around her (as the first finalist confirmed), so even if she was to suddenly fall ill on the day of the fight its close enough to the fight that all the major MMA media sites recognise her as a competitor, and all the stats sites tapology, sherdog etc would record her on teh card. Dimspace (talk) 17:43, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Dimspace:, Please read WP:MMABIO and WP:MMATIER. Some MMA fighter articles are tag as such when MMA nobility has not been met and will remained so until it is met.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 19:15, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

stub tags
Thanks for your edits. Please take care not to add {{stub}} to an article which already has a specific stub tag, as you did in this edit. I also don't think there's much point in saying "lead missing" for a three-sentence article, especially one which has an excellent lead sentence of "Will Jones (born 3 December 1998) is a Welsh rugby union player ...". Happy Editing! PamD 19:14, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- @PamD: Thank you for informing, I didnt see the stub tag at the end of the article.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 19:17, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- While you're curating pages, something else it's very useful to do is to check whether an article with a disambiguation is linked from the undisambiguated title - in this case I added the necessary entry at the Will Jones disambiguation page, as it's something I usually check for while stub-sorting. Sometimes it will be hatnote which is needed, or in other cases a new disambiguation page to be created. The editor who created the page should have sorted out this navigational stuff, but they often don't so it's a very useful addition to the page curation process. PamD 19:20, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- @PamD: Thank you for the pointer. Have taken note and appreciate it. Does Wikipedia has a policy/guideline on when a hatnote is needed instead of entry on disambiguation page. My understanding is that if a hatnote is placed, an entry in disam should be listed. Kindly advise and thank you.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 19:35, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- If you are creating or curating John Xyz (artist) and there is only the one "John Xyz" article, for a politician, and you are happy to leave the politician as the "WP:Primary topic", then just add a hatnote to that latter page using
{{about|the politician|the artist|John Xyz (artist)}}
or similar. A dab page shouldn't be created if there are only the two articles, one at the base name (the Primary Topic) and one with disambiguation. - If you believe that (a) your new man should be the primary topic, or (b) neither of them should be, then things get more complicated and you will need to move the original article (which will need a WP:RM in some cases), and be sure to update its incoming links, before (a) moving the new article or (b) creating a dab page.
- If there is already a hatnote there, because there are now three different John Xyz articles, you could create a dab page (and add {{other uses}} to the primary topic page to direct readers to it) or make a more complex hatnote.
- If you discover, on investigation, that there is already a John Xyz (guitarist) not currently linked from John Xyz, then again you could either make a longer hatnote (
{{about|the politician|the artist|John Xyz (artist)|the rock musician|John Xyz (guitarist)}}
- that's why I prefer {{about}} rather than {{for}}: you can expand it easily) or create a dab page. - Lots of options, but I think that navigation tools like this are a really important part of helping readers find the article they need - and also helping prevent enthusiastic future editors from creating duplicate articles, perhaps in this case at John Xyz (painter). I hope that all makes sense - ask again if not! PamD 22:59, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- @PamD: Thank you very much for the above explanation. Do you able to direct me to articles, with similar name but different person as your examples (except moving the page) above where hatnotes have placed on the articles and dab page has been created, for my perusal how things are set in actual scenario. Once again, thank you for taking the time for the above advice.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 05:44, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

" Please note that position of the fighters in the table is accordingly to to the date/month/year they competed/debut in UFC. Please do not change the fighter position with a valid reason."
I'm curious why you would try to tell me this when the 2nd paragraph of the article says the fighters are ordered by record, with most wins being first, then alphabetically if the fighters have the same record.
Nickosmma (talk) 12:58, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Nickosmma: Thank you for bring that note to me. Appreciate it. This list was recreated in 2010 and it has gone through some changes. The table now is sortable and calculation by points with the combination of the total fight results of win, loss, draw. I will reword note 3. To say that, some of the fighters placing/position in the table, I suspect it might not be 100% correct. There are may be 400-500 fighters in the list and I have not checked if they are all in order. If you want help up to check and edit, kindly work one weight devison one at a time as the list is very long and big changes is very diff to track where the changes as the history "diff" could not show enough lines to determine which fighter info has been change and where the position have moved to. Please note fighters fought under UFC, Strikeforce and WEC are under WMG-IMG record. Do check the page [5], as according to the Bloody Elbow article Zane Simon was the former minder Wiki current UFC fighter list article. I have run through the list in Bloody and compared to the current list in Wiki (fighter position), they are very similar (90%+) but not 100%. Once again, thank you for your contribution and let me know if you would work the checking.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:28, 6 December 2017 (UTC)

Please go to Talk:List of current UFC fighters and at the bottom there are the formulas for the calculation. Pls ping me if you need further assistance. CASSIOPEIA (talk)
- @Nickosmma: I saw your edit on note 3. Please note Zuffa brought WEC and Strikefore and in turn WME-IMG brought Zuffa. So "UFC" fighter debut record is the first professional appearance of WEC /Strikeforce / UFC whichever the "earliest date" underthe three promotions. Hi CASSIOPEIA. I was looking through your contributions, and I noticed that you broke the three-revert rule on the UFC 221 article. I’m somewhat disappointed because a significant part of what we’ve been working on in CVUA is recognizing the difference between vandalism and good faith edits, and part of the reading that you should have been aware of is the three-revert rule. You should be aware that you are in significant danger of being blocked if you make more than three reverts of any part of another editor’s edits within a 24 hour time period. Once it is clear that you disagree with another editor who is editing in good faith, you should stop reverting, even if you think you are right, and start discussing. Please keep this in mind in the future.
(For what it’s worth, WP:BALL prohibits speculation on the part of Wikipedia contributors, but it does not prohibit Wikipedia contributors from reporting on the speculation of reliable sources.) Mz7 (talk) 10:44, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Mz7:, I had noticed I did yesterday for I stopped after that. Thanks for informing and reminding.
CASSIOPEIA (talk) 11:01, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Mz7:, Thank you for the explanation as I stand corrected and have apologied to the involved editors. Thanks again.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:47, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
New Page Reviewer Newsletter
Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 12713 pages. Please consider reviewing even just a few pages each day! If everyone helps out, it will really put a dent in the backlog.
- Currently the backlog stretches back to March and some pages in the backlog have passed the 90 day Google index point. Please consider reviewing some of them!
Outreach and Invitations:
- If you know other editors with a good understanding of Wikipedia policy, invite them to join NPP by dropping the invitation template on their talk page with:
{{subst:NPR invite}}
. Adding more qualified reviewers will help with keeping the backlog manageable.
New Year New Page Review Drive
- A backlog drive is planned for the start of the year, beginning on January 1st and running until the end of the month. Unique prizes will be given in tiers for both the total number of reviews made, as well as the longest 'streak' maintained.
- Note: quality reviewing is extremely important, please do not sacrifice quality for quantity.
General project update:
- ACTRIAL has resulted in a significant increase in the quality of new submissions, with noticeably fewer CSD, PROD, and BLPPROD candidates in the new page feed. However, the majority of the backlog still dates back to before ACTRIAL started, so consider reviewing articles from the middle or back of the backlog.
- The NPP Browser can help you quickly find articles with topics that you prefer to review from within the backlog.
- To keep up with the latest conversation on New Pages Patrol or to ask questions, you can go to Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers and add it to your watchlist.

Where is the copy? I've sent the e-mail to the author of the sentence before - it's the phrasing of the (part) of the second paragraph or so. Maybe he would like to extend the phrase himself. Also just for you, if that would be the case, I would prefer you to be able to place the original text, where it originally was.--Pavel Fric (talk) 20:31, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Pavel Fric:, Hi, Thank you for your question. I include here @Primefac: who is the admin that deleted Valentina (software) where I tagged the copyright violation of the page. I believe only admin could view deleted page according to "Wikipedia:Viewing of deleted articles by non-administrators" and kindly correct me Primefac if my understanding is wrong. Pavel Fric, if you would like to recreate the page again, please read WP:RPDA prior recreating the article. Thank you.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 06:32, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

Page Review Request!
Hi CASSIOPEIA,
I hope you are well and that I am posting in the right spot. I found your username on an MMA article I was editing and I thought you might be able to help with another article, a notable musician article that I created. There seems to be a very severe backlog on drafts and the period for acceptance of new articles could be many months long so I thought that I could perhaps ask for you to review this draft and push it through if you think it is up to standard. I believe it is written neutrally and well referenced and several other Wikipedians have already made changes to the draft since I created it so the community has helped to better it, as well. I would appreciate your assistance in removing it from drafts and putting it into the article space, if possible. Here is a link to the draft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ian_Erix Thank you kindly in advance for any help you can give. Best, Stefan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bruinsects (talk • contribs) 07:49, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Bruinsects:, First of all, welcome to Wikipedia. We have a huge backlog in New Page review at the moment and many of us the reviewers are trying to clear it to a manageable level. I noticed that you have also requested User:Abisheto review Draft:Ian Erix, as such, I will leave it to Ian Erix should he/she would like to work on the review as I am a new page reviewer but not belong to the AFC group for such, I am unable to help. As you mentioned you have edited a MMA page; however, I could not find that edit in the list of your contributions. By the way, please read the links here to familiar yourself with Wikipedia policies on editing BLP articles (please click) WP:BLPGOSSIP, WP:AVOIDVICTIM and WP:PUBLICFIGURE as your edits on Taylor Swift and Russell Simmons were reverted by other editors. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:13, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- @CASSIOPEIA:Thanks for the tips, I was surprised to see my edits on Taylor Swift and Russel Simmons reverted as I thought it was more than gossip since they have been widely reported in many news sources but I am just learning Wiki ropes so I will be sure to more closely go over the instructions at WP:BLPGOSSIP, WP:AVOIDVICTIM and WP:PUBLICFIGURE . I was editing MMA anonymously for some time as that was my primary interest before University but now I decided to make a bigger contribution if I can. I look forward to getting to know the rules and regulations here better. I am sorry but I don't know what AFC group is and I didn't hear back from User:Abishe yet. Is there anyone else you can advise me to reach out to in order to help speed the review process up since the backlog for new pages is so huge? Thanks, Stefan Bruinsects (talk) 10:24, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Bruinsects:Good day. User:Abishe had already replied you at your talk page User talk:Bruinsects and you have sent a second message to him/her. Wikipedia:AFC is where you create your article (in this case Draft:Ian Erix)and submission for review. You could send your message to Wikipedia:Teahouse and someone will answer your questions. The welcome message on your talk page provided many useful and helpful links to topics which would off you interest to learn about Wikipedia. Thank you.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 10:42, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
Warning re Myth of the flat Earth
Hi!
Please review the edit history at Myth of the flat Earth. You reverted my rollback of obvious vandalism and then warned me. Please remove your warning from my talk page. Sjö (talk) 15:57, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Sjö: I would like to apology for revert the wrong history "diff" and tag on your talk page as I had re-looked on the history on Hunggle and noticed the mistake. I guess I look at the wrong version of history on Hunggle and revert on the latest on the page which is not your version. My apologizes and thank for bring up to my attention.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 16:04, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Cassiopeia. I was just looking at Myth of the flat Earth, and starting to wonder why you weren't blocked yet. (OMG) Okay, mistakes happen, I've done the same thing. But as a warning to anyone else that sees that history I wonder if it might be a good idea to do a null edit there with an edit summary that it was a misunderstanding. I'm not meaning to suggest it should be done, just whether it would be a good idea. ~ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 00:59, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- @J. Johnson: I am working in Counter Vandalism Program here. I deleted the tag on @Sjö: talk page before he/she wrote me this message above. While I was writing a apology message to Sjö (see Myth of the flat Earth revert edit and Sjö's talk page and the time it was written), Sjö sent me the message above. We the counter vandalism editors at times might do the mistakes as Sjö, you and I did (and I have done what I could to correct/revert the mistake and appologies at instance), and if this would amount us to be blocked then do what you may for I would not refute. As for the null edit with an edit summary, I include here @Mz7: as he/she would know better and would able be able to advise further.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 04:43, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Cassiopeia apologized and removed the warning from my talk page, and I'm satisfied with that. I have made similar mistakes myself, and it's very likely to happen if you're a high-volume vandalism fighter. Sjö (talk) 08:01, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

- Please don't take my comment as any kind of criticism! I, also, am quite satisfied with Cassiopeia's actions. But, having made the same kind of misstep myself, and no guarantee not doing it again, I was wondering as to what an editor might do (such as an explanatory null edit) so that passers-by won't take alarm. ~ J. New Years new page backlog drive
Announcing the NPP New Year Backlog Drive!
We have done amazing work so far in December to reduce the New Pages Feed backlog by over 3000 articles! Now is the time to capitalise on our momentum and help eliminate the backlog!
The backlog drive will begin on January 1st and run until January 29th. Prize tiers and other info can be found HERE.
Awards will be given in tiers in two categories:
- The total number of reviews completed for the month.
- The minimum weekly total maintained for all four weeks of the backlog drive.
NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.

Tapology / Sherdog
I have noticed many fighter records are not updated on sherdog in a timely manner, have you considered using other sites like tapology? Jahannum (talk) 09:55, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Jahannum: Greeting to you and thank you for your question. The consensus as per WP:MMA is to use Sherdog as the based reference. I do occasionally use Tapology should the info is not in available in Sherdog in the fighter infobox in an article; however, it is hard to say which one is more updated as sometimes we do not know the which info (Sherdog vs Tapology) is the newest such as (1) when a fighter has switched camp/gym or they are still attached to multiple gym/association (2) a fighter has recently moved to new city for he/she would "fight out" from there and etc. When I use Tapology / UFC info on the infobox/body content, I cite the reference/source so readers would know the info is not based on Sherdog. Have a wonderful and happy new year ahead Jahannum.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 10:58, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
Double nomination for the deletion
Please check Vivek Gopan, I also nominated it for the deletion. Looks like we have now double deletion process :) Sorry, if I did something wrong, I used TW for nomination. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 10:11, 2 January 2018 (UTC) @Bbarmadillo:, Hi, thanks for informing. The current deletion is under your nomination. Since it has been dominated PROD (by me) and deleted, what could be done is to self delete your tag by go to history to restore the previous editor, stating editor remove own edit, and re-tag with (1) "criteria speedy deletion" (CDS) or (2) "article for delete" (AfD) using TW and stated the reasons of the nomination. A page has been PROD (propose for deletion) can not be PROD again as PROD can only use once. See WP:PRODNOM. Thank you.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:41, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oh my, it is too complicated for me. I guess the current process can work just fine :) -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 13:45, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Bbarmadillo: Hi, the current proceed can not work as it has PROD twice (from me and you). Just to go to the page click history with the last two edits tick (yours and previous edit prior to yours) and click "restore to this version" and state "editor delete own edit" then go back to the page and re-tag either (1) CDS or (2) PORD using TW. Let me know if you need further help. (note: I cant do it for you as you need to self delete your own tag in this occasion). Than you. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:54, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

Mama Na Boy tv commercial
Hello, Thanks for your comment. Mama Na Boy tv commercial went viral in Nigeria because it portrayed Male Preference in Nigeria or gender sensitivity issues. This why I created you. Let's improve instead of deletion. Thanks Kabusa16 (talk) 11:42, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kabusa16:, The youtube link you provided hits 4.2k views, and the other I found "Love Lounge-ama Na boy" has 1.5k view, the numbers might be too small to consider going viral. I dont think it meet WP:GNG and it subject needs to gain significant independent coverage or recognition see WP:NRV, and that this was not a mere short-term interest. The "Pulse.Ng" reference is a site for movies, celebrities, music, lifestyle and events not a major newspaper, the "Streetdirecory.com" referece is an opinion source and "nairaland" reference is a forum site. I have done a search, no much major coverage at this time, may be WP:TOOSOON.Thank you. CASSIOPEIA (talk)
Hello, From your explanation and the links that you provided. I have learnt a lot too. Thanks. I strongly believe that you are correct. The TV advert commercial was viral on TV but does not have sufficient coverage on Newspapers. What do we do at this time. Please adviseKabusa16 (talk) 16:59, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Kabusa16:, Hi, the tag as been removed as stated by the editor that it might related to Nigeria "badger badger badger", which I am not familiar. For the mean time, the let's other reviewers work on it and see what they could find. Do note that criteria to recreate an acceptable article is that the subject/topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject to serve stand alone article in Wikipedia. Do have a look at WP:N subject as it might serve your interest and find another topic/subject matter to write again. Thank you for your contribution.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 17:19, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi CASSIOPEIA. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 14:10, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Lovelytheband
Hello CASSIOPEIA. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Lovelytheband, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Being signed to a notable label indicates importance/significance (WP:CCSI#SINGER, WP:CCSI#BAND). Cassiopeia, there are several things wrong with this and this.
- I did explain my edit in a summary, so both your edit summary and the warning message contained lies.
- Rollback should only be used for reverting vandalism, which my edit obviously was not. You were told that when granted rollback just last week.
- You reinstated a WP:PROD template after it had been removed. This defies policy.
- You reverted me after just a few seconds, meaning that you couldn't possibly have checked the above beforehand.
86.17.222.157 (talk) 14:56, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- @86.17.222.157:Greetings to you. did the revert as large contain is removed ad Huggle placed the message as predefined as I have miss the summary edit message. It is true the PORD should not be added after it has removed and I apologies for my actions. We counter vandalism fighters do huge amount of edits as time we would have done some mistakes. If you look the above message, the editor is also a vandalism fighter and I revert his edit as he left out a vandalism content (done by other vandalized editor). It happens. You changed it to a ambiguous page, wonder you might want to have a discussion with other editors to see a AfD or change to a list page instead. I am not suggesting yours decision has no merit as it is just merely suggestion. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 16:12, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, but that is not a satisfactory reply. Of course we all make mistakes, but the thing to do is to learn from them so as not to repeat them rather than just say that "it happens". Within a few edits of replying here you were making the same false accusations of vandalism as reported in the section below. 86.17.222.157 (talk) 17:16, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- @86.17.222.157: Greetings, I have apologized and sorry to learn that you are not satisfied. I understand you motivation to add the info (The Wall of Kindness) to Bahraich page, however, any content added/edited in Wikipedia need to be based on a independent reliable source/reference for verification. I have checked on the net (ENG) and cant find any source to support your claim. You might want to check if you would find the reference in Indian's newspaper which would support directly your claim. Any reference in any languge could be used as reference/source as long as the reference is added with incline citation. Not a good idea to restore standard warning message left on a user talk page
users may remove these. Removal is considered evidence that they read them. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 06:24, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Doug Weller: Hi, Greeting. I do shared the same understanding as you on the above, I restore them as sometimes counter vandalism editor might not know it and do not check the diff on history page for such might not place the right warning level if they are not using TW or Hunggle but using the manual warning template code. Do share if there is something I might miss here. Thanks for sharing this with me. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 09:25, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- I agree that that's possible, but it's still not a good idea as it can lead to edit warring and antagonism. Doug Weller talk 09:49, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Doug Weller:, Hi, Thanks for the viewpoint as I have never thought of it that the sentiment of other editor would see in this manner. Noted and thanks. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 10:18, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
