[edit]Locke Cole RFA
[edit]I just wanted to say thanks for your neutral vote (despite your earlier statement that you'd oppose). It means a lot to me that you think I've improved enough to no longer warrant an oppose. —Locke Cole • t • c 13:38, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Another thank you for your comment on my talk page (now archived). =) Sorry for the belated response. —Locke Cole • t • c 22:03, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Many thanks for your support on my request for adminiship, I'm sure you'll be glad to know the final result was 92/1/0. I am now an administrator and (as always) if I do anything you have issue with, please talk about it with me. --Alf melmac 10:33, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Thanks for your support on my request for adminship.
The final outcome was (80/3/0), so I am now an administrator. I was flattered by the level of support and the comments, so I'm under real pressure not to disappoint, thus if you have any queries, suggestions or problems with any of my actions as an admin then please leave me a note --pgk(talk) 10:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)I'm thinking about going for it, and need your advice
[edit]I'm thinking about requesting adminship, and have written a draft of my request. I would appreciate it if you would proofread it for me, and let me know what you think. --Go for it! 23:31, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
RfA Thanks!
[edit]Thanks
[edit]This user thinks it is ironic that thanks for supporting Cyde's successful RFA came in the form of a userbox. |
Here's a userbox for you. --Cyde Weys 04:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
[edit]I know this doesn't look good for my RFA but, could you look into a vote at my RFA (opposition #2) as I believe it is a vote by an absive sockpuppet of User:Mcfly85. Moe ε 03:37, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Of course you are correct
[edit]My vote is equally capricious, but no more so. I'm not a fan of making a WP:POINT, but in this case I feel that I need to, and that it is reasonable to do so. —Doug Bell talk•contrib 04:44, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

My RfA
[edit]My RfA | ||
Thank you for supporting/opposing/commenting on my request of adminship, sadly the result was 54/20/7 an thus only 73% support votes, resulting in that the nomination failed. As many of you commenting that I have to few main-space edits, I'll try to better my self on that part. If you have any ideas on what kind of articles I could edit, pleas send me a line. :) | →AzaToth

My (HereToHelp’s) RfA
[edit]Thank you for supporting my RfA. I’m proud to inform you that it passed with 75 support to 1 oppose to 2 neutral. I promise to make some great edits in the future (with edit summaries!) and use these powers to do all that I can to help. After all, that’s what I’m here for! (You didn’t think I could send a thank you note without a bad joke, could I?) --HereToHelp 12:50, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
You're a sysop!
[edit]Hey there. I'm pleased to let you know that, consensus being reached, you are now an administrator! You've volunteered to do housekeeping duties that normal users sadly cannot participate in. Sysops can't do a lot of stuff: They can't delete pages just like that (except patent nonsense like "aojt9085yu8;3ou"), and they can't protect pages in an edit war they are involved in. But they can delete random junk, ban anonymous vandals, delete pages listed on Votes for deletion (provided there's a consensus) for more than one week, protect pages when asked to, and keep the few protected pages that exist on Wikipedia up to date.
Almost anything you can do can be undone, but please take a look at The Administrators' how-to guide and the Administrators' reading list before you get started (although you should have read that during your candidacy ;). Take a look before experimenting with your powers. Also, please add Administrators' noticeboard to your watchlist, as there are always discussions/requests for admins there. If you have any questions drop me a message at My talk page. Have fun! =Nichalp «Talk»=. Please also add your name to WP:LA. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 04:20, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

- *laughs at Meegs's comment* Well, to play off that...here's a little for you. (Translation for the second sentence in giftie: May it be a tool to ward off vandals in Wikipedia, when nothing else seems to work :P).
- Anyway, yes, methinks that you are right. We'll get the Tolkien articles in ship-shape. And very fitting that your 111 votes match Bilbo's age in the FotR. :D Congratulations on your RfA, CBD—I have full confidence in you. —Mirlen 22:50, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
My Vote
[edit]CBD, this might sound corny, but Wikipedia-wise, you're my John the Baptist more or less. When I got pissed off at people like POTW, who seemed to be out for little more than trying to hurt people, you tried to redeem him from that way of thinking.
I've tried to live up to that standard for awhile now(hell, Jimbo even stole my adminship over it), but i'm still not there yet, at least in this frame of reality. "The Real World" is going fairly well. Hopefully someday this place will too, but for now to be honest with you, it just makes me sick.
In any case congratulations. I also hope one day we can find an alternative for the default response. Karmafist Save Wikipedia 20:03, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
[edit]Hi CBDunkerson. Just a quick note to thank you for your support in my RfA, which recently passed 62/13/6. I will do my very best live up to this new responsibility and to serve the community, but please let me know if I make any mistakes or if you have any feedback at all on my actions. Finally, if there is anything that I can assist you with - please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers TigerShark 03:57, 4 April 2006 (UTC) |

Thank you for your support
[edit]Thank you very much for your support on my recent RfA. I am pleased to announce that it passed with a tally of 72/11/1, and I am now an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the tools, but please let me know if there are any admin jobs I can do to help you, now or in the future. —Cuiviénen 02:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Two weeks ago I couldn't even spell administratur and now I are one (in no small part thanks to your support). Now that I checked out those new buttons I realize that I can unleash mutant monsters on unsuspecting articles or summon batteries of laser guns in their defense. The move button has now acquired special powers, and there's even a feature to roll back time. With such awesome new powers at my fingertips I will try to tread lightly to avoid causing irreversible damage and getting into any wheel wars. Thanks again and let me know whenever I can be of use. |
RFA Thanks
