CCMcgrew, I see that you have made a start on your article expansion in your sandbox. That is great. There are some tools that will help you to organize your references. I encourage you to look at the Cite tool in the toolbar. Also, adding a notes and reference section at the bottom of the page will result in the creation of a reference list. Wikipedia does this as endnotes. It is a little odd to APA users. PsycTeacher (talk) 14:21, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, class!

[edit]

As I check in on your Wikipedia progress I can see that you are actively engaged with this new tool. We only have a short time left to generate a meaningful contribution. I have noted a few editing issues as I look through your work. Three common issues are citations, editing notes, and signing your work. You are trained to use APA style citations and Wikipedia does not support that in its citation editor. In Wikipedia, use the Cite tool, select the appropriate Template from the drop-down menu, and fill in the blanks to produce your citations and references. When you complete an editing session, be sure you enter a brief description of what you did. This helps all of us to follow the changes you make. Finally, when you complete an edit, sign your work. You sign your work using four tildes like this PsycTeacher (talk) 18:15, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you need help, begin by consulting the Wikipedia Resources links on our Course Main Page. Here you will find a link to a document titled Editing Guidelines and other help pages. PsycTeacher (talk) 18:15, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, CCMcGrew! It looks like you have made a good start. How is your background research coming along? PsycTeacher (talk) 14:41, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 19:00, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey guys! I am eager to start learning how to use Wikipedia to add the influences that Edward Thorndike has had on education! I feel that he has a lot to offer with his Law of Effect. He was also the man who introduced the ASVAB test for the military, how cool! Good luck to everyone!

Hello, CCMcgrew and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! • ArchReader 17:18, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
