There is no evidence that there were any periods of estrangement between Tracy and Hepburn and there's no evidence that Tracy had 'several' affairs while allegedly estranged from Hepburn. This is all speculation by the various Hepburn biographers.

Page 197 of the Osborne book is about James Stewart. The Tracy section starts on page 205. There's nothing in that section about Tracy and Hepburn being frequently estranged. I don't have the book by Wayne but she's a notorious gossip with little credibility. I have the Berg book but your source doesn't cite a page number. Nonetheless, I'm sure that Berg didn't say that Tracy and Hepburn were 'frequently estranged'. The comment in both the Tracy and Hepburn entries is simply unwarrented and certainly not properly sourced. CPayton (talk) 22:08, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was able to look at page 219 of Wayne's book through Google's book search feature. The book says nothing about Tracy and Hepburn being "frequently estranged'. In summary, this statement in the article has no support in even the most dubious sources. CPayton (talk) 22:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another point, the entry for Katharine Hepburn in Osborne's book Leading Ladies starts on page 105 not 195 and there is nothing in the entry about Tracy and Hepburn being 'frequently estranged'. Just because someone footnotes an entry doesn't mean that the entry or the footnotes are legitimate. CPayton (talk) 22:27, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome

[edit]

I'm sorry that you haven't received a proper welcome yet after all this time! In any case, welcome, rather belatedly, and I do hope you stay around and contribute more. I noticed and replied to your message at Talk:List of bisexual people: T–Z. Cheers! sonia00:40, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of bisexual people deletions

You need to put the discussions for deletions onto the talk page and on the deletions log, not on the page of the article itself. Asarelah (talk) 23:31, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
