Thames Trains

Thanks for adding the new template to the Thames Trains article! Great help! Although perhaps a misinterpretation, I like the idea of putting the awarded and expiry date of the franchise. So thanks for that (perhaps unintentional) addition!

Image for deletion

Hi. I found a better quality version of the old BT logo. As such I've listed Image:BTLogo91.jpg for deletion. (Uploader must be informed). Mark83 23:16, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

P.S, i don't know for sure it's a phone cable, it just looked like a stylised coiled cable and i presumed it was Emoscopes 17:05, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

A bit of googling showed that the old GPO vans etc. simply used the same crown symbol as is present on the current Royal Mail logo, with lettering on the vehicle saying Royal Mail / Post Office Telephones etc. However I did find a stylised GPO cap badge on a picture of a linesman's hard hat which I have used as the basis for a GPO logo / symbol.
