January 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm 117Avenue. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, KassemG, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 03:19, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Shia Islam, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 07:12, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Fornication, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Auric talk 11:03, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm GoShow. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Capital punishment in Vietnam because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. GoShow (............................) 01:36, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at President of Syria, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Arxiloxos (talk) 04:37, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Igor Shuvalov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Russian Orthodoxy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Just wanted to let you know that I recently reverted an edit you made to the aforementioned page. The reason for that is because the sources I've checked (specifically the second one I gave) explicitly state that he had been hanged, not shot. If you can prove otherwise with reliable sources, I'd be happy to reinstate your edit — but ipso facto, that does not appear to be the case. Kurtis (talk) 03:33, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring, BLP violations[edit]

Do not do this again unless you can provide a specific inline citation to a reliable source showing that it is true. You have inserted it multiple times, and other editors have objected to it because it did not have a source.—Kww(talk) 04:23, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit to François Hollande [1] was incorrect, and directly contradicted by the source cited in the article. It is also contradicted by other available sources. The sources state that, although Hollande was raised in a Catholic family he no longer has any particular religion. This is the second time you've made this incorrect change. [2] You have made a number of edits to other biographical articles about the religions of the subject without citing a source for your change. Making changes like this without support from a reliable source violates Wikipedia's policy regarding biographies of living persons. --Arxiloxos (talk) 05:22, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Gilo1969. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Great Depression because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! GILO   A&E 19:41, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Amanda Wolff"[edit]

A page you created, Amanda Wolff, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. SeaphotoTalk 19:42, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding unsourced material to biographies of living people.
