Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you made a comment on the page WP:TEA#Trump Derangement Syndrome wiki page that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 14:23, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doug, how about the comments I received back from individuals on: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:TEA#Trump_Derangement_Syndrome_wiki_page? Will they also be contacted in this manner? What was replied to me did not seem very civil either but if they are not contacted as well then your being selective in who you choose to chide on the topic which would be very unfair. I genuinely am concerned about the topic and TDS page from a logical standpoint. The same standards should be applied all around, and not to people who’s opinions are not liked. I genuinely am attempting to contribute as I just join within the past couple of days. CThomasFox (talk) 18:19, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
