Ihor Kolomoyskyi article[edit]

Hello, and welcome, Cactusbites. I removed your addition to the Ihor Kolomoyskyi article here. Please see my edit summary regarding the removal. We need to be particularly careful regarding WP:BLPVIO here on Wikipedia. Well reported, mainstream opinion certainly can be included in the content of an article, however pre-empting what living people may or may not do is pushing the boundaries of WP:NOTGOSSIP and WP:RECENTISM. It's sometimes difficult to get the balance right, but with BLP issues it pays to be WP:CAUTIOUS. Happy editing! Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:59, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Iryna Harpy. Thank you for your message and explanation. I take your point about the need to be careful with WP:BLPVIO, although I do find that since numerous sources have raised the claim, it is relevant to the page. Nonetheless, I'm new to this and so I'll leave it be. Thanks again for the tips Cactusbites (talk) 07:50, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know there are a few reliable sources that have speculated on what's going to happen, but we have to be measured as to how we use opinion pieces. What will happen will be seen soon enough. Assuming it's shaping up the way it appears to be shaping up, you'll be more than welcome to add the info along with evidential reports. Cheers! Iryna Harpy (talk) 07:57, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
