ChartData Twitter[edit]
Hey! I just wanted to let you know that the reason I keep reverting you is because you're providing unreliable sources. I have a tracking page (User:Doggy54321/sandbox2) that a team of five editors (including myself) uses to remove unreliable sources from articles, and then keep track of those sources just in case editors (like yourself) add/re-add them to other articles. I am not picking on just you, I'm just going through the sources to see if they were added to articles, and if so, I'm in the process of removing them.
If you look at the tracking page, you can see that chartdata.org is listed as an unreliable source, as well as an explanation is given as to why it is unreliable, citing WP:CHARTS#Websites to avoid as the reason why. This means that multiple editors other than myself came to a consensus that this source is unreliable. Now, I know what you're thinking, "I'm not citing chartdata.org", so let me break that down for you. ChartData Twitter and chartdata.org are the exact same thing. The Twitter is run by the website, and all the Twitter does is repost information from the website, so we can conclude that ChartData Twitter has the same reliability as chartdata.org, i.e. none at all.
In addition to that, Wikipedia generally discourages the use of social media, so we have a policy about it to ensure it is not being misused (WP:SOCIALMEDIA). In it, it says that "self-published and questionable source sources may be used as sources of information about themselves", which can be roughly translated to "unless the self-published/questionable source is sourcing something about themselves, we shouldn't use it". I don't think ChartData Twitter is run by Nicki Minaj and Karol G, so the source shouldn't be used in Tusa (song).
All this to say, the source is indeed unreliable. If you want to contest the unreliability claims, you can make a post at the reliable sources noticeboard to get a formal consensus about the reliability of ChartData Twitter. I am not picking on you, I do not exclusively remove unreliable sources from Tusa (song), I do it on tons of other pages as well. Thanks! Dđ¶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 02:11, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
