A tag has been placed on Chris Kelly (Radio), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Brad Beattie (talk) 12:02, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recreated as Camps[edit]

The article Camps has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. --Brad Beattie (talk) 01:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

March 2007[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Scientology, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 17:19, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia as encyclopedia[edit]

Please read and become familiar with Wikipedia's policy on Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Information must be presented neutrally in a straightforward factual manner, with reference to reliable published sources. From that information, readers may make their own characterizations of a person, organization, etc. Controversy and criticism is already included, following these policies, in these articles. Making explicit characterizations in the article that are not neutral and do not reference sources does not convince anyone. Readers unfamiliar with the topic become skeptical at such blatantly opinionated statements; readers favorable to Scientology will simply think the statements lies and that it discredits the entire article. —Centrxtalk • 17:23, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to message on my talk page[edit]

CampsFM, thanks for replying on my talk page. It seems like your argument boils down to "other people break the rules, so that let's me break the rules". This isn't true in real life, nor is it true here. Unfortunately there are articles here that breach our WP:NPOV rule, but that doesn't mean you are allowed to do it. Your additions to Married with Children again reflect your personal opinion and lack all sources. I will remove them shortly. Please read our core policies and understand that an encyclopedia is not an appropriate place for you to express your opinion. There are many free web hosts where you can add a page with your personal opinions; Wikipedia is not one of those places. Gwernol 15:07, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Super_66.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Super_66.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is either no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use, or else the rationale given is not valid. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 11:48, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
