A tag has been placed on User:CandidCamilla/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Help.[edit]

I want to give high quality contributions about my country while following wikipedia guidelines. I need help understanding how the text here is not neutral. It was deleted for unambiguous advertising.

The Lusaka Auto Street Show is a bi-annual street event that takes place in Lusaka, Zambia. It features participants who perform several auto sports,or display popular mechanics and product launches. It was founded in 2016 by motor-sport enthusiasts Mautho Ndhlovu, Webster Chilikwela and Kapembwa Siame. The event features several categories including best car sound system, loudest exhaust, best modified car, show and shine, drift and spinning and others. The Auto Street Show is recognized and supported by Zambian public bodies and their respective agencies such as the Zambia Ministry of Youth and Sport, Zambia Police, National Arts council, Road Transport and Safety Agency and the Zambia Motor Sports Association.

The text did little more than state that this event exists, and it had no independent reliable sources to support its content and indicate how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable event. Please don't be too discouraged; successfully creating a new article is the most difficult task on Wikipedia, and more contributions from people in your country are needed. I would suggest that you read Your First Article and also use the new user tutorial to get more acquainted with what is being looked for in new articles. You may also want to examine and edit existing articles in areas that interest you, to get a feel for how Wikipedia works, before attempting to create a new article. When you feel ready, you may use Articles for Creation to submit a draft article for review by another editor, so you get feedback on it. 331dot (talk) 13:24, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
