I know, contrybute in wikipedia vietnamese is easily to do , but i know i need learn more english from the smallest things ,like contribute wikipedia to bigger things ,like learn with teacher.I know, my article seems bad, but I will try to make it better. Junurita (talk) 09:50, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

@Junurita I understand that, I really do, but the problem is, and I'm gonna be blunt, your English is not good enough to edit here. There are many other ways to learn English, but editing Wikipedia isn't one of them, as your mistakes end up having to be fixed by others. My suggestion is that, if you really like editing Wikipedia, edit the one in your native language, Vietnamese; or if you insist on editing here, come back when your English is better. Thanks, User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 09:57, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

Please sir can you Guide me.

Dear Sir Canoni,

Thank you for reviewing my previous draft. Your insights are invaluable.

To enhance it, I plan to focus on clarity, concise language, and stronger references.

I’ll also ensure proper citations and a coherent structure.

Your guidance is much appreciated, and I’m committed to delivering an improved version.

Can you Please guide me sir

Best regards,

Tanish Kshatriya UnKnownrNone (talk) 11:06, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

@UnKnownrNone it seems like you know what the draft lacks, so if you want it to get accepted, add them. If you're looking for help, H:YFA would be a good place to start. Alternatively, you can ask at the Teahouse, Help desk, of the AfC help desk. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 11:17, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

@D.S. Lioness the proper way to challenge an AfD close would be at WP:DRV. Thanks, User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 03:03, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

Your removal of a tag

Talk:War of 1812#Infobox and belligerents, with Spain on the list Rather than removing something you disagree with, you should see whether there is any ongoing debate on the talk page for the article. Next time you find yourself in this scenario, it would be better to check, and if there has been recent discussion, to leave a message there as to what you are going to edit, and why, else it looks like an edit war. @Keith H99 thanks for the reminder. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 02:57, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

Question about tags and draftspace

Hello @CanonNi!

I see that you removed stub and BLP tags from my draft article. Is there a reference for how these tags should only be used in mainspace and not in draftspace? I have checked the page on drafts and on tagging and I don't see it specified there.

Since Wikipedia search doesn't return draftspace articles by default, I don't see the harm in including those tags in the draft article. Having a ready-to-publish version of the article in draftspace, with all necessary tags, makes more sense in my opinion.

Happy to learn more.

Regards,
CoolAndUniqueUsername (talk) 15:36, 28 July 2024 (UTC)

I asked this question at the Teahouse and have a better understanding! Thank you! CoolAndUniqueUsername (talk) 17:00, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
@CoolAndUniqueUsername no problem. Happy editing! User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 23:09, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Responding at WP:EFFP

Before adding a comment of r, please actually make sure the added individual doesn't already have an article. In the request you answered about Mt. Whitney High School, the individual in question is Ken Khachigian, who does have one. Animal lover |666| 19:02, 28 July 2024 (UTC)

@Animal lover 666 thanks for the reminder. I was wondering, since I saw a lot of these false positives recently, is there a way to 'update' the article so that it doesn't trigger the filter? Thanks. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 23:09, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
Unfortunately, the filters probably don't, and never will, have the ability to check for the existence of other articles. (They can parse the HTML of the page, both the old version and the new, to detect red links.) Animal lover |666| 06:25, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
