Welcome[edit]

G'day, thanks for your AFL related contributions, it's always good to make up pages for players once they have made their AFL debut. Just a couple of tips - the references should be specific to the player, not just generic AFL related ones. Have a look at my edits to Roughead and Astbury, to see how I added reliable references to each article, plus some categories and an external link. You've made a great start to your wiki editing, but as you've probably seem from the above deletion of an article and the proposed deletion of the book article, there are lots and lot of policies and guidelines. I would recommend that you have a read of WP:N, WP:V and WP:NOT, and maybe stick to editing for a while before you create more articles. I'm also guessing you are a Rebels fan... Freo would like to thank you for Nic Suban... he looks like he'll become a real gun in the years to come! If you have any questions, either reply here or click on the talk link after my name and add a message to the bottom of my talk page. Cheers. Hi there, as the two articles you edited, Jordan Roughead and David Astbury play for different AFL teams, but both played for the North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup, I assumed that you were associated or followed them, and as I am a Freo fan, I am very happy that the ex-North Ballarat player Nic Suban came to Freo. That's all. Keep up the editing, just make sure you stick to the notability, verifiability (references) and What Wikipedia is not guidelines and you'll do fine, Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 07:24, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
