[edit]Hello there. I've come across your edits and I wish to ask, what if your connection to Alexander James Kent? I ask as it seems all your edits are connected to this person and as a result it seems that you may have a conflict of interest to them. Canterbury Tail talk 14:59, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Canterbury Tail. Thanks for pointing this out. I have been following this academic and his work for some time. (To be fair, not all my edits are connected to Alexander James Kent, but I see your point!) The page Alexander James Kent has been edited (heavily) by other users as well as by me, since no-one can claim to own a page on Wikipedia. Cantiana (talk) 16:51, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Okay I need to ask, if you're just someone who follows his work I have to ask how you took this photo? Canterbury Tail talk 17:01, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Of course - and you're right to ask. Actually, I did not take this photo; a former colleague took it and I have a copy, which I then scanned and uploaded. If 'own work' has to be the person behind the camera lens (as opposed to the owner of the digital image) then that attribution should of course be updated. Cantiana (talk) 17:09, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
