Anishinaabe Project

[edit]

I noticed your edits at Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation and Webequie First Nation. Nice Job! We're working on classifying and improving all articles related to Anishinaabe and Anishinini peoples at Wikipedia:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America/Anishinaabe. One area we're severely lacking in is First Nations in Ontario. Please take a look and contibute what you can.

Please remember to reference & categorise

[edit]

Aaniin! Miigwech for your contribution for Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation and Webequie First Nation, as well as adding more items on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America/Anishinaabe. For the two First Nations articles, I have gone in and referenced the articles. Please remember to list references, as well as the category to class the articles. Otherwise, the article might get tagged as being "unclassified" or "unreferenced" and then deleted by one of the WikiBots. Keep up the good work, but please don't let your good work be automatially deleted due to not meeting the basic standards of Wikipedia. Miinawaa, miigwech. Anishinaabemowin language Userbox

[edit]

Aaniin, with great effort from User:Miskwito, we now have the oj series of Anishinaabemowin language userboxes. On the WP:IPNA/Nish page, we have a matrix of the possible categories for the oj series and the major dialect groupings. You can now add to your Userpage one of the oj userboxes that are available or you can help create a userbox for the dialect of your interest. Please see Wikipedia_talk:Babel#Ojibwe_language_userboxes for the full discussion. Miigwech. CJLippert 23:48, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've expanded the Wawatay a bit more, but a lot more is needed. Can you help? CJLippert 22:49, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Burney derek.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Burney derek.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free image File:Burney derek.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Burney derek.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:32, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
