New Page Reviewer granted
[edit]Hello CapitalSasha. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. Ϫ 22:41, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Sources have been added to the biography page for Carl Abbott. Please rescind the proposed deletion of this page. Danielmllr (talk) 15:07, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Danielmllr

Redirecting the page: EverWing
[edit]Just a quick question: I don't understand why EverWing is not allowed to have its own page. As I wrote on the talk side of the page, there is a lack of information about the game and due to this a redirecting does not make sense. Kudues (talk) 03:59, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Kudues: In principle it may be able to have its own page; it's just that in the form it was in it didn't make a credible assertion of significance (see criterion A7 of WP:CSD). Having a lack of information available about a subject does not necessarily mean the subject is notable -- see Wikipedia'a notabiilty guidelines. If you feel that you can justify why EverWing satisfies the notability guidelines, feel free to recreate it. CapitalSasha ~ talk 15:37, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

Re: Speedy deletion nomination of TetraBIN
[edit]Hi, thanks for your prompt feedback on the page TetraBIN. The potential copy infringement issue has already been fixed. The paragraph has been rewritten and there's no similar content to the link that you provided. Please let me know if the page is healthy enough and if the speed deletion tag can be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scormust (talk • contribs) 05:43, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
Daya Dissanayake (8/12/2016)
[edit]Hey there! Thanks for reviewing the page. Much obliged! Yudhanjayaw (talk) 06:09, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sure thing. By the way, I moved your comment to the bottom of my talk page -- the convention on Wikipedia is to add new comments at the bottom. CapitalSasha ~ talk 06:14, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

ESOM
[edit]I (regretfully) declined your speedy deletion nomination of Esom School of Music because it did have external, seemingly independent sources, is arguably an educational institution, and has been declinsuged before in its previous incarnations. Since it was rewritten and had two new sources, it also wasn't quite G4. I tend to follow those criteria fairly strictly, so I definitely don't think it's worthy of inclusion on Wikipedia. Anyway, I've re-nominated it on AfD and suggested creation protection. Appable (talk | contributions) 08:27, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi My name is Haseeb Ashraf and i am a writer last night i add my profile article on wikipedia but it got deleted today morning.please tell me how can i secure my articles about me and my books.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Superstar786 (talk • contribs) 09:49, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Superstar786:: Wikipedia is not a place to write about yourself or books you have written. Articles on Wikipedia need to be notable, verifiable, and covered in third-party reliable sources. Please review the pages I've linked to and let me know if you have questions. CapitalSasha ~ talk 15:46, 23 December 2016 (UTC)

Wang Chi-chen
[edit]Hi CS-- got a notice that you reviewed Wang Chi-chen. Should I remove the "unreviewed" template? Thanks and cheers in any case.ch (talk) 15:30, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I should have removed the template when I reviewed it. Just did, thanks for the note. CapitalSasha ~ talk 18:14, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
Pallache Family
[edit]Hi, CS. Noticed that you reviewed the Pallache Family page; thank you. Question: really, no changes at all? It's the longest things I've ever composed on Wikipedia: I'm happy to have no changes at all from you (vote of approval?) but just wonder how something that long can have so little edited... Respectfully - --Aboudaqn (talk) 22:08, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Aboudaqn: The "reviewed" notification you got was a new-page patrol review notification. As WP:NPP puts it, "The primary purposes of new page patrolling are to identify articles which do not meet the criteria for inclusion and/or to tag them for any glaring issues that need attention." As I understand it, it's not the same thing as a detailed article review. So most articles aren't changed at that stage of review -- it's just a check to make sure people aren't creating complete garbage pages. CapitalSasha ~ talk 22:32, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- Duly noted; thank you
