Thanks a lot. I've done quite a lot of anonymous editing before now, so I'm fairly familiar with procedures, though there's always more to learn, so please correct me if I do anything silly! Carissa.cool (talk) 13:05, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Pencil skirt[edit]

Updated DYK query On May 31, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Pencil skirt, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Congratulations on this Clarissa, the article is quite well-written, especially for a new user! I am concerned that you may not have checked that the sources used in the article were reliable – generally, it's best that articles are sourced to authoritative newspapers, scholarly books and journals and the like, but the pencil skirt article includes many references to blogs and similarly self-published sources, which are generally unreliable.  Skomorokh  17:49, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind comments. I've posted a response on the article's talk page. By the way it's Carissa, no 'l'. Carissa.cool (talk) 19:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Human leg[edit]

Hi Carissa.cool. This undoing seems to revert an OK edit. Am I missing something? SueTwo (talk) 23:13, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - I'm an idiot! SueTwo (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Skirt[edit]

Re: your removal of the bubble dress photo -- your edit comment doesn't make sense. "Not a particular style"? It's listed in the blinking article itself: "Bubble dress/skirt, a voluminous skirt whose hem is tucked back under to create a “bubble effect” at the bottom. Popular in the 1950s, 1980s and from the mid 2000s to currently." The photo I added is a Doo Ri design. Major American designer there. OttawaAC (talk) 01:49, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It was a picture of a dress, not a skirt. And that gallery is for illustrations of skirt types linked to the respective articles. The designer is irrelevant. Carissa.cool (talk) 23:33, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
