If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Carlamarrow/Disk Eyes Productions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Creating an article[edit]

Hi Carla, thanks for your message on my talk page. Here are a few thoughts and suggestions which hopefully will be helpful. Click on the blue links in what I have written below to read more about those things.

  • If you are brand new to wikipedia editing, my first suggestion would be to gain some experience editing existing articles before you create an article from scratch - that will help you learn how wikipedia works and some of the core policies. It would also be a good idea to work through the Wikipedia:Tutorial to learn more about how wikipedia works.
  • The next thing I would want to ask is whether the company you are planning to write an article about is one you have a relationship with in the real world. If so, you have a conflict of interest and it is not the best idea for you to author such an article. If you really think such an article should be written, you could try asking for someone else to create it under the appropriate section at Wikipedia:Requested articles
  • If you do not have a conflict of interest, the easiest way to create an article is to use the Wikipedia:Article wizard which will talk you through each step of the process and help you make sure you are following the guidelines. This will create the article as a draft and at that point you can invite other editors to comment. If you get to this point, feel free to message me again and I'm happy to have a look at what you have done and give specific feedback. Then when you are happy with the draft, you can submit it for review which means it will be checked by other editors before it is published.
  • Overall, you need to keep in mind that wikipedia is an encyclopaedia and does not exist to promote companies. So the subject of the article needs to be notable, the information in it verifiable and referenced to reliable sources, and the writing written from a neutral point of view.

Happy editing, Melcous (talk) 05:27, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted you[edit]

Please don't be discouraged! I undid this revision due to WP:SOURCE--we need sources for information that we add here. Additionally, this may constitute trivia, since Muzak has lots of versions of lots of songs, so no one of them is likely to be notable. Please let me know if you need help. I know that having your work undone can be discouraging but I want to give you any assistance that I can to encourage you to be an editor here. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)TCM 00:12, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
