A tag has been placed on Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 10:06, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

When I wrote the above, I had not noticed that the article had been previously deleted and its first author ChasseConsulting (talk · contribs) blocked as a role account. Within three hours this account was set up and re-created the article. It does not matter if you are not actually the same person: closely connected users may be considered a single user for Wikipedia's purposes if they edit with the same objectives. Therefore:

Request reason:

My deepest apologies. I'm only trying to write an article on a company that does great work but even more than that gives a lot back to the Austin community in which it is headquartered. I meant my writing to be positive and objective. This is my first article, so any and all tips would help. I assumed it was okay to write about a company since I've seen so many articles on here about a wide variety of organizations. For instance, the advertising firm Tocquigny in Austin, Texas has a small wikipedia blurb. That was something similar that I was shooting for. If you could point out the differences and how I could go about doing something that, it would really help. I would like the chance to try again. In terms of the sockpuppe label, well, I speak to that because that username was a mistake. I created it since it seemed logical to have the username the same as the company. I was not looking to promote. I created this other one immediately thereafter because when I searched for Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc., the wikipedia article came up with with a red flag that it had been deleted. I didn't want that message on the Internet, making the firm look bad for a mistake I committed. I really would like to try again and hope that if it doesn't work out that the page can be completely deleted such that a wikipedia entry no longer even comes up in a search engine search, especially with such a large brazen red flag that really makes the firm look bad. Anyway, if you could please umblock me and then point me in the right direction on how to rewrite the page, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Decline reason:

No way - you requested unblock on your original account improperly, and you were advised there that unblock would have to ensure that you do NOT recreate this article. So, you created a new account and tried again: you read the WP:U policy, and you also read the explanation why this article does not belong. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 23:37, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Two things; firstly, the page cannot be deleted any more than it already is. Secondly, if you are unblocked you will not be allowed to edit articles relating to a company with which you are closely involved. What else would you want to write about? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 19:18, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, well see there lies my concern. I'd hate for the page to stay the way it is with that big red banner displayed mentioned how it's been deleted for such and such reason. Especially when no one from the company wrote that article. See, the company volunteers with a variety of charitable organizations, in particular Manos de Cristo of Austin. They also do work with Charity: Water, Empact Africa, WorldVision, St. Jude's and a foreign exchange program where they give interns from overseas an opportunity to work in the U.S. I feel their contributions are grounds to let them have a wiki, even if it's a little blurb like this company: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tocquigny This is where my inspiration came from. I thought I could write something like this since they have one too. Can I ask why that article is allowed? If I crafted one similar to it, then, would one for Chasse be allowed to stand on Wikipedia? I just feel that it is sorely unfair for this company, that I feel makes a contributable effort in the local community, to now have a bad wiki when it wasn't there fault. I can guarentee I will only mention those things that fall in realm of the user guidelines. Look, here's a link to the Austin Business Journal's article on the CEO: http://austin.bizjournals.com/austin/stories/2008/08/04/story13.html I'd be willing to take some advice, too, on how to write it such that it isn't deleted again and i'm not blocked again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlos8806 (talkcontribs)
A Wikipedia entry is not given as a reward for being good and virtuous and doing charity work - see Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause; and "They have an article so we should have one too" is not considered a valid argument.
Don't worry about the big red banner - within a day or two, Google will have updated itself and the link to Wikipedia will no longer come up on a search. JohnCD (talk) 09:15, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
