Recreated categories

[edit]

Hello, I see you've created two categories recently, Category:Roman Catholic actors and Category:Entertainers who died in their 30s. Both of these categories were previously deleted at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion: the consensus was that the categories were a trivial intersection of unrelated characteristics. Accordingly, I have speedy deleted the categories. I believe your recreation of the categories was in good faith, but please take notice that a big pink box appears listing when a non-existent category was previously deleted, and in such cases, you should at a minimum ask the deleting administrator whether it is appropriate to recreate the category, or post a question at Wikipedia talk:Categorization, for example. The log within the box also usually has links to the relevant deletion discussions. It would probably be a good idea also to read through our relevant guidelines regarding what kind of categories tend to get deleted. Cheers, postdlf (talk) 18:07, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Adam Ryen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article is only sourced to IMDb which is not a reliable source. Searching showed up multiple wikis with mentions but no reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.John Pack Lambert (talk) 05:41, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
