Hi there Hello, It just annoys me that I have this red "TALK" thingy on the top of my screen. That is why I am right now starting my own talk page. Nonetheless, other people are still allowed to write down their stuff here. I wouldn't know why anybody would do that though.

Commenting on Requests for Comment

[edit]

Hi, please don't make edits like these - the page Wikipedia:Requests for comment/History and geography is a list of links to current RfCs relating to History and geography, it does not contain the RfCs themselves. You should follow the link at the start of each section, and comment there. Your edits were reverted automatically. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:42, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's a bit embarassing to be honest, I'll be sure to not edit on the list itself again. Thanks for the information :) CarolingianCitizen (talk) 23:55, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, thank you!

Frisian cuisine moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Frisian cuisine, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:07, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I came across this article when doing new page patrolling, and what caught my attention, and is the main reason why I've moved this to drafts, is that the Copyvio Detector reports quite high similarity with one of the sources. This is known as close paraphrasing, and is a form of copyright violation. If you could please go through the sections highlighted by the detector and rewrite them in your own words, that would be great.
Another thing: could you please demote all the sections by one level; the 'main level' should be (somewhat counter-intuitively) not =X= but ==X==. In other words, that's for the top level headings, and each subsection is then stepped down by one level at a time from there.
One more small thing: please remove bolding from the body text; it's usually reserved for just the start of the lead section when the article title term is first introduced, and a few special cases in addition to that (see MOS:BOLD).
Otherwise I've no issues with this, and should be able to approve the page as soon as you're done, if you ping me. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:16, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ludwig Nissen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 10:02, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you attempted to improve the short description on Religion in the United States. Short descriptions serve a specific purpose on Wikipedia. They are not definitions of an article's topic, and should not simply repeat the information contained in the article's title. Additionally, many articles intentionally have no short description when the article title is considered to be sufficient. If you have further questions, feel free to consult Wikipedia's information page regarding short descriptions, or leave a message on my talk page.

Thanks!
